I would never vote for Hillary--Billary--the Clintons.

She is a socialist--Obama not much better--found to be the most Liberal Senator in the Senate.

But he is a really smart guy and when it comes to the General Election--It's the Repub candidate--whether it's McCain or Romney (likely McCain)--they will have my vote.

Depends on the state. In Arizona, where I am, independents can only vote in the general election.
It is very easy however to change your party affiliation on line. You can change it as many times as you want, but there is a cut-off a month before an election.

QUESTION --

In California will your vote for the primary count if the postmark on your mail-in ballot is dated on or before the primary or does your absentee ballot envelope have to actually have been received by this Tuesday's primary? Anyone know?

In California if you are a registered independent you can vote in the Democrat's primary but not in the Republicans' primary.

I voted for Gore in 2000--I used to be left of center before that during my college days and when I didn't care if my taxes were paid to someone else who didn't earn/need them. And I didn't have kids.

As far as Still being registered as Dem--I just haven't seen those people at the tables in front of Wal-Mart to change my affiliation.

There are untold millions of registered Dems who feel the same as Murphy does and vote Dem straight ticket because they don't understand that their party has left them...and it's not like the DNC is gonna announce that bit of information to them...they want to keep them as ignorant of the truth as possible. They changed the Independent status in CA for the primary.

I used to be registered IN--but then I got a primary ballot and the people to choose from were losers.

Totally AGREE--The Dems can't change anything because the unions and special interest groups have the Dmes in their pocket.

How can one change the system when the system is toally broken and paying for the candidate to keep it going?

Schools, local govt's, pensions, --look at Detroit.

I happen to be pro choice--I think women should keep their knees together and stop a lot of the abortions in this counrty. They need to take control of thier bodies--not by killing their child--but by being smart and waiting or being more careful.

The girls in the next generation are already making that choice for themselves.

I think birth control is needed and RD40 is needed for rape and incest.

I worry about Sen . Obama because I think he is promising way more then he will be able to deliver. People think that he is going to go into
