How can anyone be surprised by this? Both Arnie and Mac would be democrats in 1960 - Kennedy Democrats or as my dad used to call himself, a Southern Democrat. Unfortunately, as both the Democratic and Republican parties have slid inexoribly to the left, pandering to people looking for handouts, today's moderate Republican is last generation's Democrat and today's mainstream Democrat is last generation's Socialist. Hell, Arnie married into the Kennedy's!!

If it's Hillary and McCain...they have cut a deal to flip a coin and each will take the VP slot and the Presidential slot for two years each.

Once again, Skidmark's ex-pat ingnorance rears its ugly head.

Ahhhnold is popular amongst a broad swath of California's electorate, most importantly independants, and his endorsement was sought by Hillary (through cousin RFK jr.), Obama (through uncle Teddy), McCain, Romney and Guiliani.

McCain got it, which will be not insignificant in the GE if McCain gets the nomination.

Arnold must have really worked hard putting his finger to the wind.

So with McCain's well known anger management issues, I wonder if he will use his power and authority as President to get a little payback...to accomplish a long past failed one... from one trigger happy leader to the next huh?

Surely out of 300,000,000 people in our nation we could find at least another 10 or 12 candidates to consider? None of them excite me -- not a one. I can't believe this current crop of losers is all we Americans will get to vote on.

McCain is coming on Jay Leno's show in about 10 minutes. They are all out here in California now before the main primaries so I guess McCain stopped by NBC studios in Burbank to get some face time on Leno's show.

Well, I just watched McCain and the ONLY issue he kept babbling about was the one he always talks about -- "radical Islamic extremism"

McCain keeps talking about that and the Iraq war so he can play the old war horse role. Our country's economy is in the tank and Americans are waaaaaay more worried about issues here at home.

Americans have a lot more worries much more important to them than radical Islam . Issues like health insurance, wondering if they will keep their jobs or will their jobs be outsourced overseas, the nation's infrastructure being a delapidated mess, the high school drop out rate is a national embarrassment, the dollar is dropping like a rock are much more on the minds of Americans than radical Islam. So what does McCain want to discuss on Leno (or anywhere else) tonight? NONE of those issues.

With McCain it's all war talk -- because that's his ONLY strength and he needs to look good and tough on national security. With McCain it's all war all the time. McCain thinks all Americans see a "radical Islamic extremist" behind every tree. I've got news for Johnny -- there are tons of things worrying Americans more than some Arab teenager with a suicide belt running around the streets of Fallujah. McCain is a feebleminded embarrassment.
