Yup:

Hard to know what to expect.

Jeff - I think we pretty much covered that last week. Please don't spam threads.

TY

Jeff is on a crusade to save the world. Jeff resides in one of the cleanest and without fault countries on the face of the earth. Danes' have never used any modern material things produced by evil nations that were gained by exploiting indigenous peoples around the globe.

Denmark is full of Iron ore, petroleum, coal, silver and gold as well as low grade skunk weed, yellow cake and other assorted plants that keep them well.

If not for the evil United States nobody would ever have went in to any of these places and distrubed these primitive cultures and the world would be as one.

I just get irritated when they post bullshit news like this.
Huckabee and Hillary in the lead.
Come on!
Everyone knows that this is a bullshit article.
The corporate media is manipulating the outcome of these polls to promote their darlings, and Drudge is promoting the lies.
That's why I posted the article about the Lakota Succeeding.
The article I posted is more interesting, and true news.
This is just more fluff news for the morons that still believe the corporate media.

THREE ARRESTED AND DELAY HUCKABEE APPEARANCE AT DES MOINES CAMPAIGN HEADQUARTERS

DATE: December 31, 2007
DES MOINES--Three members of the SODaPOP (Seasons of Discontent: a Presidential Occupation Project) were arrested today in Governor Mike Huckabee's Campaign Headquarters in downtown Des Moines.

SODaPOP is an initiative organized by members of the Iowa Occupation Project and Voices for Creative Nonviolence. Members of the SODaPOP Campaign arrived at Huckabee's Locust St. campaign office early Monday afternoon, waiting for the former Arkansas governor's reply to a letter delivered two months ago that sought his pledge to completely withdraw from Iraq within 100 days of assuming office; halt all military actions against Iraq and Iran; fund the rebuilding of Iraq as well as health, education and infrastructure needs in the U.S.; and " ... the highest quality health care, education and jobs training benefits for veterans of our country's Armed Services."

About 35 reporters, including a number of international journalists, were at Huckabee's office during the protest. In addition to a banner that read "Who Would Jesus Bomb?" protesters held signs that read, "End the Iraq War" and "No War with Iran." Protestors inside Huckabee headquarters sang "Auld Lang Syne," in remembrance of lives lost in the U.S. War on Terror, chanted "Who Would Jesus Bomb?" and read names of Iraqis and U.S. soldiers killed in the war. Participants also cited scriptures and teachings of Christ that called for ending war and making peace.

Part of me is just glad it's going to be over soon. I'm approaching coverage burnout.

As SANANTONIO pointed out, the Des Moines Register, considered to be the gold standard of Iowa polling, has Obama with a 7 point lead in their last poll before the election.

Their methods do not include 'robo calls' or lists of registered Democrats only, but are acknowledged to be the most accurate in light of Iowa's unique caucus system. Their polling in the 2000 and 2004 caucus picked the winners - who went on to win by even larger margins.

The Concord Monitor (New Hampshire) also has Obama in the lead there. Quite remarkable for a candidate who was polling 20 points behind in September.

I watched Michelle Obama speak at a retirement home on C-SPAN in the wee hours this morning. She is an absolutely compelling speaker, and right on the mark. It was something to see all those white senior citizens after the speech telling her that Obama is what America needs. Her life story, daughter of a man with MS who worked in a factory, a Princeton degree (Magna Cum Laude), and Harvard Law Degree is as equally remarkable as Barack's.

The Concord Monitor (New Hampshire) also has Obama in the lead there. Quite remarkable for a candidate who was polling 20 points behind in September.

Then there's the bizarro world of RudiG, who was leading the GOPpers by 30 points and now trails Ron Paul, who trails everybody else.

" Their polling in the 2000 and 2004 caucus picked the winners "
Did they pick Bush?
If they did, since he stole the elections wouldn't that make their system flawed?
These polls are rigged and you people that believe them are the epitome of gullible.

Jeff, they picked the winner of the Iowa caucus for several elections. The general election is not in their purview of polling.

All pollsters consider the Register poll to be the best indicator.

"Us people"??? That's so 1992.

Both parties need to take a hard look at the way they choose canidates. Two little state in the east choose for the entire nation. I'll call bull shit on that one.
