Better waterboard him. He probably has as many ties to al queda as Saddam did. Probably knows where Osama is, too. We can stress position the old fucker til he confesses. No worse than a frat hazing.

Better yet, send him to Iraq to face their courts, as Saddam's buddy.

But But But But But I thought it was only France Russia Germany and China that was responsible for the UN Oil For Food Scandal .

Signed the Right.

If he was business partners with Bushco then yes he did have ties to Al CIA da.

At his age that's practically a life sentence.

I also doubt he buys green bananas

The difference is that in the US, he is tried and jailed if found guilty.

Oh I guess in ten years or so we might start trying and convicting the scum who stole the eight billion from the Iraq Reconstruction Fund. Yep, them neocons will be up in their eighties by then too. Just like Pinochet, do the crimes then stall for years and years and you might avoid punishment.

You're right lar, there ain't no crooks in the US.

yeah thats right......this only happens in texas......we are the ONLY state where this happens.....please putzes, give us a break.......

at least here he has the good sense to blow a UN worker's hron instead of waiting for the state of texas to take care of him..........

so I had better not read ANYWHERE about someone in some other state blowing anyone.

and you dont have to give us back to mexico....they are taking it back themselves with the help of our government.

and besides, there is still a movement here to succeed and if we did, you crazy bastards would freeze in the dark........

Dang it Monte, you sob, I KNEW you were BLT2!!!

Not.

Anybody want to bet that "sleaze bag" Oscar Wyatt won't spend a single day in prison? He'll get a "compassionate" stay of sentence from one of his pals who are judges or maybe Bush (for a consideration) will rubber stamp him one of those handy presidential pardons!

He only got one year and one day? LOL. I have clients who get sent away for years for doing one hell of a lot less. It reminds me of that seen in the movie Syriana where the oil executives agree that one their own will have to spend a few years prison as a way make it seem as if regulation and oversight occurs within the oil industry.

Condi should have been charged as well but she conveniently left Chevron exactly one week before a memo that woulda proven she knew wot she was doing was illegal was sent.

Everybody did it.

This one guy gets a year and a day?

That he prolly won't serve a day of?

The illusion of justice done once again.

Spud aint fooled but nice try.

Be Well.

This one guy gets a year and a day?

Don't worry, spud. At 83 YO, that's probably a life sentence.

He has nothing to worry about, good old bushy will commute his sentence ala the treasonous scooter libby.

Bushco justice will be served once again (meaning laws only exist for the "unimportant" humans).

One year sounds rather light, considering the guy is guilty of treason.

Wonder how Bl2 will defend this guy since he was from Texas and all.

actually byrdbrain.......I am on record as stating that if proven guilty, throw the bastard into hard core cells and tell the 'boys' that desert is here...
so there.......of course what you said is true.
just as montecore was telling all of us from his little post...texas is the ONLY state in the union with bad shit going on, if you only got your news from here reading posters.

but lets look at other things he has done just because you wouldnt hear it anywhere else.

ask bobby parker about him after bobby was working on an oil well in kuwait when sadaams men took away and dumped him in an unlit cell.....4 months later oscar wyatt was there upon negotiating his release.
susan castillo's daughter had a lump under her arm and noone would treat her because she had no insurance, and oscar wyatt gave her a check for 5,000...no questions asked and had her admitted to the UT md anderson cancer center.

after getting a ticket from a cop, wyatt called the mayor..lee brown.......(you might think this big shot was calling to get out of the ticket),...instead he told brown how professional the officer was and wyatt gave 20,000 to the police for bullet proof vest.....

800 people were trapped by a rebel militia in the mammy yoko hotel in west africa.....sierra leone.....
he contacted the state department and was instrumental in the night raid that freed ALL 800.....

so AS I SAID>.....throw the book at him.....but look at the whole man before you talk your little shit about him because he is an oil man from texas......

oh yeah......no where but texas.......and sometimes when its bad shit like this guy......thats also no where but texas........and its no wonder that none of this kind of shit happens anywhere else...good or bad......the rest of you just dont have that texas swagger........( yeah thats right,........you're pussys..)

the pussy crack..........(get it get it....pussy crack.....get it......)

was just kidding.....well sort of.....

but wouldnt all of you like to be remembered for your entire life and not just one bad part?
AS I SAID THROW HIS ASS IN JAIL.........but this one case is not his whole life......

"At his age that's practically a life sentence."

True, but to be safe they should have just sentenced him to life.

All I can say is, I have read a variety of articles and find it strange that nothing is written about the name of the companies involved, how and when they were set up or his past history and company that made him rich. Another question is also clear, One person clearly did not pull this off a lone. Finally, Saddam was hung with a lot of publicity, this guy gets a year and maybe less with good behavior-maybe the offense was never that great, only an administration rationale for going after Saddam? Of course. For this why no comment from the person investigating the case Paul Volker or the Administration. So now someone is trying to tell us every single news company forgot about this case never thought it necessary to contact or obtain this information. This should be a nice topic for Presidential candidates to address in if they should change business law, No question, news agencies were requested and agreed to put a lid on this one

oil for food scam?

Saddam was such a nice guy!

Do you mean just like BJ Willie did on his last hours in office?

"Do you mean just like BJ Willie did on his last hours in office?"

No, more like GHWB, who pardoned the Iran-Contra convicts.

Which threat to the Constitution did Clinton pardon?

"the rest of you just dont have that texas swagger

That one that comes from having a tumbleweed up your ass? You're right - don't have it.

Cheney, through Haliburton, and Bush Senior through Pennzoil, did the same thing.

But NOOOOOOOO, we won't prosecute those people. In our Oligarchy the rich and powerful operate outside the law with impunity.

so AS I SAID>.....throw the book at him.....but look at the whole man before you talk your little shit about him because he is an oil man from texas......

If only you could apply the same sensibility to people outside of texas....
