Mr. Rev. Huckabee is a true believer, and he believes as do all good emissaries, who spend their life's time harvesting the faithful for the Lord, that he is entitled to the fruits of the earth for his good works. So, don't take it as something amiss if Rev. Huckabee overreaches a bit at times. He's just getting his due. It's not really "scandalous."
After all, Arkansas gave us the other Bible toter (when he was in trouble), Mr. Clinton. (And a big conspicuous Bible it was.) But even Arkansas which gave us Mr. Bill, would not accept Ms Hillary in the opinion of her protagonists, so she packed her carpetbag and went to New York. Now, there's poetic justice for you, a carpetbagger going North to exploit Yankees rather than a Northener going South. Oh sorry, Ms Hillary was an Illini, so she went back to her roots.
Color us gullible. The political game really entails money going in from the ordinary person, and some at the funnel of the cornucopia receiving the benefits. You've just gotta know how to play the game. But an expectation of anything but being mulcted by the political process is not realistic.
The politicos get the vigorish. Mr. Rep. Murtha is the "King of Pork." His "earmarks" (payoffs) are astonomical compared to those of any other member of Congress. But that's okay. That's the game.
And with Mike Huckabee, you get a bonus. He'll get rid of those gol-darn secularists in government. After all, God made this country great, and He needs Mike to keep it on the straight and narrow, and recapture old-fashioned values. Mr. Rev. Gov. Mike Huckabee is not just after money. He wants to reclaim the government for God. And by golly, he just ain't ashamed to declare that he's for God, the Godly, and the Saved. You God-forsaken Damned atheist secular folks had better repent your sins, and amend your ways.
You have a friend in Mike, whose pulling for your redemption and salvation. Mike'll not only bring you good government restoring honesty and integrity (keeping in mind however that Mike "is" entitled), but Mike will bring you closer to reward in the next world also. As you would with Ms Hillary, you get a twofer. Now would you rather get a twofer of Bill and Hillary, or a twofer of God and Mike. Please note the humility and deference. God is listed before Mike.
Well, Happy Thanksgiving, Amerind militant ideologues to the contrary. We give thanks on this day to our Creator for the many blessings that He has bestowed upon us by making it possible for us to live in this great land, and enjoy the blessings that we do here.
We are not celebrating subjugation of the brutal barbaric redman, but rather the blessings that we all, including the now enlightened redman, enjoy in the country, and that we have bestowed upon the redman by exposing him to civilized Western culture. It's been a boon for all, a win-win conclusion. Unapologetically, "God bless America. America is a beacon of hope to the world and a joy to those blesed to live here.
