The US Air Force is putting AI in the pilot's seat. In an update on Thursday, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) revealed that an AI-controlled jet successfully faced a human pilot during an in-air dogfight test carried out last year. DARPA began experimenting with AI applications in December 2022 as part of its Air Combat Evolution (ACE) program. Judge Merchan, in directing the press not to use physical descriptors to describe jurors, complained specifically about mentioning one of the jurors had an Irish accent. "We just lost" what would have been a good juror for the case, Merchan said, after one of the jurors was excused after she told the court that she had concerns about her ability to be impartial. Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) thinks he's found the perfect job for Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA). Axios reporter Andrew Solender has flagged an amendment that Moskowitz filed that would make Greene the official representative of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the United States. "Whereas... Greene has repeatedly attempted to block aid to Ukraine, empowering Vladimir Putin's unlawful violation of Ukrainian sovereignty and territorial integrity," the amendment reads. "Whereas... Greene has reposed information from the Strategic Culture Foundation, a Russian based disinformation and propaganda channel... It is the sense of Congress that Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA-14) should be appointed Vladimir Putin's Special Envoy to the United States Congress."


After the hearing, Gallagher spoke with reporters about the hearing and the end of his time in Congress.

However, WLUK did confirm through the Brown County Sheriff's Office -- which patrols Allouez, where Gallagher lives -- a case number was assigned late last year to a swatting incident related to the congressman.
