He's the victim of selective enforcement. Otherwise, we'd see white, middle aged country singers arrested for keeping a hunting rifle in the bedroom closet. Unloaded. It's just blatant racism!

The news says he's a convicted felon so, tough beans.........Have a nice trip......

Congratulations Vernon....Only you could come up with such an idiotic statement as that. Racism has nothing to do with it except in your twisted-bigoted mind. Take a bow.

VERNON

Difference Vernon.....white middle aged country singers use the rifles for hunting animals legally.

As the people in the music business say

"One more time".

How many rappers, felons or not, end up with weapons charges?

He Was Being Sarcastic:

"Difference Vernon.....white middle aged country singers use the rifles for hunting animals legally."

-Sarge

Now he has material for two more albums...

LOL.... I love the knee jerkers that don't recognize Vernon's sarcasm when they see it and wind up playing right into the point he was making with it.

I dunno why he would be targeted, he looks like such a fine upstanding member of society.

Violence and guns (legal or not) seem to follow rap "artists" every where they go.

At least some portion of the genre seems to thrive on death and dying. The dying is all to often the singers themselves. The number of these singer/talkers that have felony criminal records before they achieved success is very high. Just maybe the young folks need to look up to a better grade of (pop)hero.
