Anything to make it interesting.

I wish Dennis Rodman would run. Kinky Friedman.

Gore/Obama would be an interesting ticket.

Of course if Gore does enter the race he will take from Hillary's base opening the door for Obama. Win-win situaiont for Obama either way.

situation.

take from Hillary's base

That's the key.

Looking at a Daily Kos poll, it looked like if Gore entered that most of Edward's supporters would jump ship, and that Gore would leave Clinton and Obama in the dust.

Just thought that was interesting - Edwards by far is the biggest looser to Gore running. But then in my mind, they're quite similar.

He would win 35 states and 423 Electoral Votes so Gore should run.

I don't care who runs as long as Hillary doesn't make it.

Any Republican is still better than Hillary and that is fact!!!

Bush as in W....?

Any Republican is still better than Hillary and that is fact!!!

I never hear a reason as to why.

Put your $ where your WAR is.

including some of his most trusted advisers, say that is unlikely

Enough already with the Gore run...let it go, people.

Bush as in W....?

Not a single thing would be different, to say otherwise would be stupid!

I wish Algore would run. It would be most entertaining. But he will not.

Right now he can proclaim anything and his horde of useful idiots will parrot him. He fills a room with worshipful, adoring eyes. Gore accuses anyone who challenges his pronouncements as guilty of heresy.

He's finally the high priest he dreamed of being when he was in divinity school.

Why would he give up all this for the dirty world of politics, which is all about compromise?

Bush as in W....?

Not a Hilldabest lover my self, but there would be a big difference (my God have mercy....)

Pretty damn Presidential these days don't you think?

How true. But we'll get the same thing from Hillary! The difference is that Hillary! wants the power of God. Algore thinks he is God.

Ding, ding! We have a winner for the Most Ignorant Post of the Week!

Don't think he'll run but wouldn't be surprised to see him willing to serve as a "compromise" if the Convention starts to split.
His support will mean a lot to whoever he selects.

and Money- that 80 million year old sexless organism? Better Presidential material than GWB. The rock it lives on? Better than Bush too.

I put algore right in there with all the other phony liars , billy bubba , hillarity , reid , pelosi . But what truly amazes me is you leftys buy this crock of shit , and I keep hearing you are the smartest people in the universe , but then again , I have to consider the source .

At what point in your futile existence did you decide anybody cares where you put what? And remember, even Der Dubya now acknowledges mans' impact on global warming.

College admissions?

If gore ran it would good for the republicans and would be like when ross perot ran against bush senior, but even take more votes from hillary and obama. Me personaly i would like to see that race, cause Gore knows alot of inside info about the clintons and would most likely use it to his advantage. As far as Obama, he would get wiped out much like edwards and that would be the end of them. in reality its getting pretty close to the prmaries and gore qould have to get hot on this to even get in to be a canadate. Most likely he will ride his nobel thing for a while and come in after either hillary leaves office (if elected) or after the end of the first term of the next republican president, either way he is setting him self up for a possible run at the white house again, he is still a young guys as far as dc is considered.

The way he's been packing on the weight, possibly he wants to emulate the Buddha.

Would Hillary appoint Obama to the Supreme Court to get rid of him as a political rival?

Maybe with the lifetime appontments, and the extended longevity, we should have a minimum age for Supreme Court appointments. Maybe 55 or 60?

Would Hillary appoint Obama to the Supreme Court to get rid of him as a political rival?

I see him as her VP, combining their fortunes for the general election.

Could be the begining of 16 LONG years for Republicans.

possibly he wants to emulate the Buddha.

He wants to eat Buddha.

I see him as her VP

Resulting in:

"I, Rudolph Giuliani, do solemnly swear..."

Kerik

OBY G. is done. His partner in crime is getting investigated AGAIN.

Don't let his "Bernie was a mistake" BS fool you. They were fucking business partners for crying out loud.

"Maybe we should have checked him out more."

They were best fucking friends for Christ's sake.

Did you see him getting booed at the Yanks game? It was so fucking beautiful!!!! They know the real OBY G.

I doubt he'd run against Hillary Clinton.

Critics state that Giuliani showed consistently poor judgment in promoting the career of Bernard Kerik, who started out as a New York Police Department detective driving for his campaign, then became the city's Correction Commissioner and later police commissioner and a founder of Giuliani Partners. Giuliani then pushed President Bush to nominate Kerik to be secretary of Homeland Security, at which point multiple scandals derailed the nomination and Kerik's career; subsequently Kerik pled guilty to corruption charges dating from his Corrections days.[7] In March of 2007, The New York Times reported that Kerik was likely to also be indicted for tax fraud and illegal eavesdropping, and also disclosed that Giuliani had testified under oath in April 2006 that he had in fact been briefed on Kerik's mob links in 2000 -- prior to his appointment of Kerik as Corrections Commissioner. Giuliani had previously denied knowing of these connections until years later

Liars in Crime. I can't wait for the commercials.

Rudy, "He is connected to the Mob? I nominate him for Homeland Director!"

Rudy ain't going be doing anything in 2009 besides look for a job. Sorry.

You see...Hillary's going to be our next president.

He'll have his chance in 8 years.

So do we:

"...worthless piece of sh*t..." - "...his butt boy..." - "Waste of time piece of sh*t." - "...libcom f*cks..." - "...brainf*cking all the braindead..." - "...brainf*cking rampage..." - "...commie boy's ass..." - "...pants pissing pieces of sh*t traitors

And of course, this:
"...we have been kissing the asses of afreakin Americans for 200 years . The only thing you can do for them is give them each as many white women , gold chains , mercedes or BMWs as they can handle ."

Yep. We also consider the source.

And yet, you still keep posting, North.

So do we:

Hans

Ever notice how Hans' posts always take a lot of time to compile? He really puts some effort, and time, into assembling a post.

Is he going to run?

Probably not. He travels in private jets.

Did they change the definition fot he world "peace" in order to give Gore this award, BTW? Granted, it lost all meaning when Arafat got one but what the fuck?

meant to say the word "peace".

"Did they change the definition (of the word) "peace" in order to give Gore this award, BTW?

No, not at all. For years, intelligence agencies have been prediciting conflicts based on securing resources. This environmental panel deserves major kudos for bringing a situation potentially fraught with military consequences to light, years before countries might come to blows. Peace, indeed.

However, Gore's connection, to me, has always been tenuous at best. Like the Oscars, he was the face, despite the usual focus being on the director of the Best Documentary. He's like the eighth guy to work on the award-winning song, taking home a statuette just because he wrote fourteen words in the third verse.

NPP? Okay...congrats, Al. Now...what else can you do?

Danforth - that is a stretch at best. But there's another thread on this and I shouldn't have posted that here anyway.

If Gore spent more time with his kids instead of flying around the country in his gas guzzling private jets, maybe Al Gore Jr. would not have been arrested for driving 100MPH in Orange County, California drunk and endangering the lives of motorists and their families while his car is full of drugs.

"If Gore spent more time with his kids...."

Interesting line of argument. I wonder how the world would have been different had Bush I bothered to parent Bush II?

Hillary has the nomination sewed up. He's not running. He is no doubt on her short list for a major appointment.

Would Gore be happy at the EPA? Maybe Secretary of State. But speaking as a Republican, he would get my cross-over vote depending on his view of Iraq (a fiasco) and Iran (it has a right to use nuclear power for energy).

If Obama can stop Hillary, Gore runs.
Obama has been in it from the beginning to stop Hillary for Gore. I've said since the talk of Obama began that David Geffen is nobody's fool and he knows Obama doesn't have the experience to run and win and yet Geffen put his support behind Obama ? Come on. Obama is a stalking horse for Gore and if he can weaken Hillary early on before she has all the momentum, Gore will enter and choose Obama for his VP who will then run as an experienced VP in 2016. Otherwise Gore will never challenge the Clinton political machine. It would be political suicide to do so.

As for Hillary? If Guiliani is the Republican and Hillary is the Dem, Guiliani will win because Hillary would guarantee the Republicans an very energized base and probably a record turnout. Clinton's a lightning rod

According to polls, Clinton is no more polarizing than any other Dem candidate, statistically tied with Obama, and their negatives are lower than all other Dem AND Repub candidates.

So much for the she has too many negatives argument.

www.washingtonpost.com

Besides, imagine what Obama's negatives would be after a year of the full-time, non-stop smearing he will receive as the Dem candidate.

People have already heard ad nauseum just about evrything one can imagine bad about Clinton, so the public is tired of hearing about that.

The public is also nostalgic for the relative peace and prosperity of the Clinton years.

And, she is killing the competition in swing states and Ohio is now blue.

Will Gore Run?

It would be the Noble thing to do. Or is it Nobel?

I'm Confused.

Al won't run.
Next topic, please

Not a chance. Expect Hillary to court Chuck Hagel behind the scenes.

Algore and Ron Paul. Put both nuts on one ticket.

ANYBODY KILLED A U.S. NIG TODAY?!

Good Christmas present for the dog.

Gore/Obama would be an interesting ticket.

That's a ticket I'd vote for.
