DailyKos has established that Rolph was not a republican plant.

How dare Rolph question Queen Hillary?

Taxman...

Your title's a bit much, but unlike Corky, not all Democrats are going to be so quick to forget that Hillary undermined her own rhetoric on the 2002 AUMF resolution by again voting to give our outlaw President a tacit go ahead to attack Iran.

The worst part is Jim Webb called Hillary and others out before the vote was cast by telling them that combined with the language of the 2002 AUMF, by branding the Iranian military as "terrorist" Bush has every right to attack them based on the 2002 accord.

Some people never learn.

""Their exchanged grew heated as he insisted the bill would authorize combat. Clinton snapped back, her voice rising, "I'm sorry, sir, it does not."'

Sorry Hillary, others have also concluded that vote could be interpretted that branding the Islamic Republican Guard as "terrorists" makes them be attackable under the "War on Terror."
It was a STUPID vote and one that she may live to regred if the war mongers in the WH do take advantage of this slight hint of authorization.
We need legislation to prevent that.

lmao!!

The substance of an article with the headline Clinton Leads in Iowa, is ignored while an incident 3/4's thru the story is emphasised.

Sounds fair to me.

btw,

"I'm sorry, sir, it does not."

Is the correct answer.

Hil is, btw, a co-sponsor of Webb's Iran Bill.

"I'm sorry, sir, it does not."

Is the correct answer.

No, it fucking is not the correct answer! Don't be so stupid in the face of a White House which claims unspecified constitutional rights to do any goddamn thing it wants to! Haven't you been paying attention over the last 7 years?

If Bush decides that the Senate resolution gives him political cover to attack Iran, who is going to stop him? Congress? With what, spitballs? The Judiciary? Ha, he doesn't listen to them on torture, unlawful renditions, signing statements or anything else he wants to ignore!

This was the most idiotic thing Hillary could have done. If she wanted sanctions available to punish Iran, then thats all she should have voted for. The AUMF gives Bush the authority to attack "terrorists" wherever they might be found. Now that the Iranian Guard is deemed a "terrorist organization" just what do you think can stop Bush from doing what he has already been authorized to do?

The very fact the resolution was forwarded by "Got War?" Lieberman and Kyl told me all I needed to know about it. Neither man's interests are aligned with those of the Democratic Party nor anyone wanting our involvement in Iraq to cease as quickly as possible. Its assinine to think the resolution is anything but the next blank check should Bush decide to cash it.

I'm so glad this guy nailed her to the wall about her vote -- essentially a carte blanche to Bush and the Neocons to nuke Iran.

Hillary can spin it any which way she wants but that's exactly what her vote did. The guy who challenged her is just like many other Americans who know that these thugs are beating the war drums non-stop to nuke Iran. We've got a God-awful mess now in Iraq of their own making and now they want to attack a second country????

Surgical strikes -- that's how they are going to sell it to the public. So that means "surgical nuclear fallout" -- no wind, nada? Give me a break.

Hillary tried to cover herself for her yes vote to nuke Iran by saying her vote was to push diplomacy first. "Diplomacy" my butt because the very next words out of her mouth are always "but all options are on the table" and in Bushspeak that means -- "say hello and then nuke" -- that's Bush diplomacy and Hillary knows it.

Hil is, btw, a co-sponsor of Webb's Iran Bill.

So what? Just more triangulation for the sake of having feet in both camps.

Why not quote Webb himself?

Sen. Jim Webb (D-Va.), the leading voice in opposition to the resolution, said the Senate was essentially labeling a formal arm of the Iranian military as a terrorist organization because the IRGC is part of the Tehran government. Most State Department designated terrorist organizations are not officially part of foreign governments.

Webb said the resolution was "a de facto authorization for use of military force against Iran."

www.politico.com

Do you realize that the Webb bill wouldn't have been necessary if not for the Lieberman/Kyl resolution? So how can Hillary be right when the bill's author disagrees with her position on the matter?

How dare Rolph question Queen Hillary?

Well we know damn well that if it were a Rethugnican event he would have had to sign a loyalty oath and would have been hauled away as "disruptive".

Their exchanged grew heated as he insisted the bill would authorize combat. Clinton snapped back, her voice rising, "Dare not question me! I will disembowel you where you stand!."

Still visibly upset after the confrontation, the Democratic frontrunner cracked open the skull of a young staffer, scooped out the brain and after unhinging her jaw, slurped it down, all in one motion. Bill Clinton was heard afterward to say, "I hate when commoners ask her questions. At home, we keep rabbits for just that purpose. This is going to be a long campaign."

Well we know damn well that if it were a Rethugnican event he would have had to sign a loyalty oath and would have been hauled away as "disruptive".

Is that truly much different than what did happen when Hillary accussed him of being a "plant" because he didn't agree with her on this issue?

Are politicians trying to gain our votes supposed to treat potential voters questions with contempt especially when the questioner is asking relevant queries about the candidate's self-avowed "experience"?

Hillary just underscored the thrust of Obama's message about there being the right kind of "experience and judgment", and the Washington-kind. Guess which one Hillary continues to show in spades?

Does anyone know if there is video of this exchange? I searched youtube but couldn't find anything.

Yes. He would have never been able to gain admittance without the "oath". One thing I saw in my work was that the Rethugnican events were highly regimented and excessively prescreened to ensure that no such event ever occurred.

As for Shillary insinuating that he was a plant.... well she should have just answered the f-ing question, but that would paint her in a bad light as having given the boy president authorization to attack Iran. So either she knew she was or she doesn't know what the bill said and she is incompetent. I am going with the she knew.

Shillary is nothing more than a pawn for the military industrial complex. More war. More profits. Less freedom.

rolph had better pack his bags for the gulags...mine's ready.

"...he insisted the bill would authorize combat. Clinton snapped back, her voice rising, "I'm sorry, sir, it does not."

She is correct, the bill does not authorize combat.

btw- Call Jim Webb's office and ask him to remove her as a sponsor from his Bill on Iran. See what happens.

btw #2, next time you call me stupid, I'm packing you in a crate with some Alpo and sending you to Larry.

9/11 made Hillary vote for the Iraq War.

www.huffingtonpost.com

She's disgusting.

And if she can honestly say that she doesn't see how naming a branch of Iran's military a terrorist organization could be used by Bush as a justification for an attack, she's about as astute as bag or rocks. I don't think that is the case. I think she is deliberately misrepresenting the potential consequences of her actions. But if she's not lying, then she's pretty foolish and having fools in the top spot hasn't worked out well.

Yeppers, Rudy Bushiani would be much better in the WH.

WH?

White House? Whore House?

"Clinton thanked him for the question and explained her Iran vote would lay the groundwork for using diplomacy and sanctions to pressure that government.

Clinton accused the man of being a plant who had been sent to ask the question, to which he took exception, saying the question was a result of his own research.

"I apologize," Clinton said, explaining that she had been asked the very same question in three other places.

The crowd applauded when the senator ended the back and forth by saying the two had a disagreement and offering to put Rolph in touch with her staff, who could provide him with the text of the legislation, which she suggested he had misunderstood."

firstread.msnbc.msn.com

"The crowd applauded"..... that sorta say it all for this "incident", eh?

This vote allowed sanctions and promoted diplomacy. The Webb Bill restrains the Pres.

Best of both worlds.

Ozy,

Same dif.

Wow a crowd full of Hillary lemmings clapped for her; it's a flipping miracle.

And a crowd of Obama supporters would be called what?

If you knew anything about NH, you would know that they are not lemmings for anyone.

They saw what happened to that non-conformist at the john Kerry event Taxman.

He shoulda been wearing his Loyalty Oath on a tee shirt.

Corky,
I'm going to the game in a couple of minutes. Do you think I should start collecting the 400 empties before the game or after the game?
Do you think the SPCA would just take the 400 cans or do you think I should return them to the store?

16 points seemed like enough on Friday...

It may still be enough. I didn't know this was the first Mon nite game for you guys in what, this century?

This is like the Underdog's Super Bowl.

Maybe we should go even odds, lol!

So should I look for you in the crowd?

www.tonymarston.net

Enjoy the game!

(NOT!)

And a crowd of Obama supporters would be called what?

Well, Smoochums, from that NYT article you posted the other day they would be called educated voters.

Side Bar:

T.O. has a career night tonight and I will be shocked if Beefalo puts up more than 10 points.

PSS: I am sure I will be eating crow tomorrow.

That should have been "PPS" not "PSS"

Here you go Corky, CNN has now devoted a whole link to just the outburst rather than her lead in Iowa and the outburst. I really love the comments as they remind me of what goes on at this site every day.

Uh-oh, it's Lisa!

" wonder if she knows i rooted for the Bears so the 'Boys would be the only undefea.....naw! she couldn't possibly know.....

oh damn! I'm in deep shit now! don't hit that ke.... oops!"

LOL

It's ok, my friend! I certainly didn't expect the Pack to go undefeated. I will say that controversy was not lacking last night....even Ditka who I really don't care for, did a play by play of some of the bad calls and said the Bears didn't deserve that win.

That said, you can't win a game with 4 turnovers, even if their opponent wasn't that good.

Here's to your Bears! But if they were really that good...they would have beat us oh...let's say 41-3.

LOL

Lot's of season left sweetie! And I still love those Packers!!

Brett Favre...best QB in the history of the game!!

Since we're sharing videos. Here's one from the exalted George W Bush, who some voted for twice. Good judge of presidential candidates are they? You decide....

Great QB, and I'm a big fan. However, he is not the best in history. Maybe in the top 10 though but not ahead of any of these guys.....

Elway
Montana
Marino
Unitas
Manning (I'm projecting ahead a little)

Just like our political opinions, Eb...I'm going to respectfully agree to disagree.

Nice to see you.

Did you guys notice last night that Madden opened the door for his man crush on Romo once Favre retires?

"Did you guys notice last night that Madden opened the door for his man crush on Romo once Favre retires?"

I dont care for Madden....never did.

What was crackin' me up was he was comparing Brett TO Romo. Laughable since it should be the other way around. Brett is far more established than Romo.

Madden is an idiot.

You too Lisa!!

We have the Pats in Dallas next week and win or lose, we'll know a lot more about our team after the Tom and Randy Show get though wif us.

LISA

I thought about you last night when the game ended. Sorry it didn't work out

"We have the Pats in Dallas next week and win or lose, we'll know a lot more about our team after the Tom and Randy Show get though wif us."

lol

Corkster:

I received a gift that sits on my desk at work. This man made a Packer helmet carved from wood and had it framed for me. My boss drew a Dallas star on the back of the frame to nuts with me. He is a major Cowboy fan.

I took his name tag and wrote #4 in green and gold, I also bought him a gift. Every time he receives a call on his cell phone, a picture of Brett Favre is dispayed on his cell phone. Next week, I'll have another little treat in store for him...lol.

LOL...that has nothing to do with the fact I wanted to tell you that I have the Dallas Defense on my Fantasy Football team....LOL.

"I thought about you last night when the game ended. Sorry it didn't work out"

Thanks! But it's ok sweetie! They are still off to a great start!!

I find it a little early to be talking about football on this thread, and some what insulting.

Please take it somewhere else like the nooner!

"I find it a little early to be talking about football on this thread, and some what insulting.

Please take it somewhere else like the nooner!"

Lighten up sweetie! I seem to recall many times you have gotten off subject. lol...and it was fun!

Clinton responded that his interpretation was wrong and suggested that someone put him up to asking the question.

This here is a Presidential candidate for you, getting more and more Bush like everyday.

Don't asks questions like this, don't question our voting record in congress, I know what it says. All this coming from Clinton yet did she actually know what the bill said in allowing Bush to go to war? Nope, why? Because she didn't make the effort to go read the damn bill, and now she is trying to say she reads the bills.

Please!!!!

Hillary clearly showed her value here in opposing views of her constituents, she doesn't care about them and even attacks them.

Bush like more and more. The more we elect politicians like this, the worse it is going to get.

Lighten up sweetie! I seem to recall many times you have gotten off subject. lol...and it was fun!

Yes, and I can agree, but it was later in the evening with usually dying threads.

But Ok, this issue is not really that important and Football on politcal thread is far far tooo important.

Guess football will save our nation from poor behaviors of our politicians. Throw the bomb on Iran!!! Oops, greenbay! It appears Fahrve is the Bush of the football world.

Glad he can hold up to such value!

"It appears Fahrve (it's FAVRE, honey)is the Bush of the football world."

Take that back Money!!!

Or I'll put the Italian evil eye thing on ya!!

Are we still on the Back Page?

Perhaps you should run, Honey, er.... Money?

Lisa

"Every time he receives a call on his cell phone, a picture of Brett Favre is dispayed on his cell phone."

ROFLMFAO!!

Even I thought Madden used the "Brett Favre is an older Tony Romo" stuff too much.

Innie,

I'm sorry but I find this subject posted by Tax a worthy subject we should be talking about.

Now we can clearly see Corky, who is over the top hillary supporter, wish to keep the footbal talk up because he doesn't want us actually discussing the terrible behavior Hillary shown here.

Doesn't want the similarity between Bush and Hillary seen from a glaring up front point of view.

The real question here now is, how can Corky be against Bush so, and yet favor Hillary so?

I see now difference between the two, identical in every way.

That was a good one, wasn't it Corks??!! LOL...you should have seen his face when he came up to me showing me his cell phone. I'm usually good about not laughing when pulling a prank, but damn....that was too good and I couldn't help myself!! LOL

Ok, let's get back to topic before Money wets himself.

Money....Hillary has a lead in a poll. I really don't pay much attention to polls. It's the ballots that count.

Personally, I don't think she's going to make it to the White House. I think she's intelligent enough, but she won't carry the southern Christian vote. You know how they are!

There...happy now? : )

"I see now difference between the two, identical in every way."

They have different plumbing for starters. I don't think it's fair to compare anyone to Bush. You really think Hillary is THAT bad??

Shows a lack of class.

Posted by Lisa at 2007-10-08 07:24 PM | Reply

A bunch of drunk football fans demonstrate a lack of class?

Who would have figured that?

The extension of Hillary's comments suggest she is lying.

We have to label Iranians military as terrorist to be able to put sanctions on Iran......Bull shit!

The questioner was quite correct and find it apalling that more don't weigh in to this.

Want good leader running for President, apparently not!

They have different plumbing for starters. I don't think it's fair to compare anyone to Bush. You really think Hillary is THAT bad??

Yes, I do. Hillary is just more articulate, nothing more.

"The extension of Hillary's comments suggest she is lying."

Money, as much as I find it a major character flaw and don't like it, name me one politician who doesn't lie.

Innie,

Money, as much as I find it a major character flaw and don't like it, name me one politician who doesn't lie.

So are you saying we should accept this character and leadership flaw and just vote for em anyway?

She took on a questioner and tried to put a label to the questioner because she didn't like the character value of herself in the question.

She clearly is misrepresenting a bill and made concerted effort to invalidate any people who are questioning her actions, this certainly doesn't sound familiar now does it!

"So are you saying we should accept this character and leadership flaw and just vote for em anyway?"

Of course not. I don't plan on voting for her.

I'm just saying that I don't think there's an honest, trustworthy politician out there.

I'm just saying that I don't think there's an honest, trustworthy politician out there.

The only way we are going to get more trustworthy politicians is to praise those, like the individual here, who question the politicians for misrepresenting reality.

Now this is the Innie I like and love, I like the lighter side too, but like your insightful nature of the situation from a different perspective.

"Now this is the Innie I like and love, I like the lighter side too, but like your insightful nature of the situation from a different perspective."

Awww..I love you too!!

Here's the problem, sweetie.....we are never going to have honest politicians unless partisanship ends. People will vote for those in their party regardless of their honesty and lack of integrity. As long as "their side wins", America loses.

(pssst...Romo, 2 interceptions within the first 7 minutes)

I find it funny that this is not Front page and pushed up big as it should be.

It clearly shows the hypocrisy of the democrats and people who really want a leader for this country who will take on the real problems facing this nation.

All for party, nothing for content!

OOPS...meant to say lack of honesty and integrity!

I'm multitasking....blogging/game watching.

My bad.

This will not make the MSM press--or a debate.

It's in the can--Hillary is the Dems pick.

Whoever is the pick for the Repubs--I hope that they can beat her.

The "Sandy Berger" issue should get a rise out of the beast.

Yesterday Hillary had placed a nifty new advisor on her campaign staffer. None other than Sandy Berger. Berger was Hillary's "husband's" National Security Advisor. Before the 9-11 Commission started conducting hearings Berger marched his loyal self over to the National Archives and proceeded to steal classified documents relating to Clinton's treatment of Osama bin Laden and Islamic terrorism during his eight years in the White House. To this day nobody really knows the totality of what Berger stole. We can only assume that the material was damaging to Clinton.
There's another element here ... WHY? Was Berger acting to protect himself, or someone else. Did someone ask, beg or instruct him to retrieve those documents? If so, whom? Someone with an eye to future power? Someone with a promise of a future position of power?
Well, as of late yesterday afternoon that's more 12 hours after the news broke where was the mainstream media coverage of Sandy Berger advising Hillary Clinton? New York Times. Nothing. Washington Times. Nothing. CNN. Nothing. LATimes. Nothing. Ditto for the Washington Post. Now, to be fair, I haven't had the time to go through all of these newspaper websites ... but durned if I don't think this is actual news!
FOXNews covered the story. But the only paper to actually run a story was USAToday, after an interview with Hillary. Of course, now she is claiming that Sandy Berger "is an unofficial adviser."

Let's talk about another story that the MSM won't cover either ... Hillary's pork-barrel spending. She, by the way, is one of the only candidates who refuses to identify her earmarks ... or "congressionally allocated funds."
Well let's take a look at why.
Between 2002 and 2006, Hillary earmarked more than $2.2 billion in spending bills.
In the 2008 defense spending bill, Hillary managed to attach 26 earmarks worth more than $148 million. This was more than any other Senator except her Democratic compadre Carl Levin ... who is the chairman of the Armed Services Committee.
How about a few local projects including $250,000 to the Seneca Knitting Mill, and $200,000 to the Buffalo Urban Arts Center. And I'm sure that is just the beginning.

TERRORISTS ENDORSE HILLARY
First the teachers unions and now this. Muslim terrorist leaders in the Middle East have actually endorsed Hillary for president. Ala Senakreh, West Bank chief of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terrorist group says, "I hope Hillary is elected in order to have the occasion to carry out all the promises she is giving regarding Iraq."
And Abu Hamed, leader of the Al Aqsa Brigades in the northern Gaza Strip says, "Hillary and the Democrats call for withdrawal. Her popularity shows that the resistance is winning and that the occupation is losing. We just hope that she will go until the end and change the American policy, which is based on oppressing poor and innocent people."
By the way ... the teacher's union endorsement bothers me more. They're more dangerous.

I think its more of how she reacted to the question and the person than the actual question. She was rude, insulting, thinking she was smarter than he. Here is an article with more of the actual exchange.

That guy was definitely a part of the vast right wing conspiracy. Hillary is a paranoid freak. This country needs to move past Bush/Clinton/Bush/
Clinton....... If you really want a change have the balls to vote for Kucunich or Paul. Then you have the added advantage of being added to the dannidrivel(tm) I HOPE you die (and painfully) list.

As an ex-president, Bill Clinton has access to the same intelligence briefings as George Bush. Could it be possible that he is sharing this information with his wife and she understands the need to support the White House on their Iran initiatives?

What a dilemma for poor Hillary. Trying oppose the Republicans for political gain while privately understanding the need to support them.

"As an ex-president, Bill Clinton has access to the same intelligence briefings as George Bush. Could it be possible that he is sharing this information with his wife and she understands the need to support the White House on their Iran initiatives?"

Bill Clinton was also on record saying Iraq had WMDs base on these briefings. Could it be possible that Hillary has access to these briefings but hasn't learned anything from the Iraq fiasco? Sure. But an inability to learn from tragic mistakes is hardly a virtue.

"What a dilemma for poor Hillary. Trying oppose the Republicans for political gain while privately understanding the need to support them."

Her record indicates a much more sensible explanation: She tries to play both sides of every issue.

Once again the Dems are forced to face the reality of keeping America safe.

What's interesting is that she somehow gets away with over the long haul.

She gets away with it from the Dem base. If Dems want real change vote Kucunich....or admit you don't want real change....if you don't just STFU. Repubs vote Paul if you want real change or you too just STFU.

Or you could just vote for Brittney.

Your vote will have the same effect.

Like I said, "if you want change".......you don't Corky....so STFU.

Shutting people up IS the Neo-Fascist way, Rode Hard and Put up Ugly.

Tell me again how either candidate has more than a snowball's chance of winning?

Oh, you can't.

So, you might as well vote Slutz 'R Us, Brittney/Ride '08!

That ticket would be ok with me.

Naw.

Too difficult to tell the two pussies apart.

Although Hillary will win the Democrat nomination, she will certainly lose the run for the presidency. Why? The far-left vocal and well financed wackos will sink her for sure. You know- the DailyKos and Moveon.org crowd. Hillary can't win by appealing to the far left as middle America is still middle America and not leftie wackos. This will turn the left-wing kook fringe against her and you are seeing it now.

The Dems should have NEVER given these lib bloggers so much power and legitimacy (such as going to their conventions). They have basically made their own political nooses in doing so.

As an ex-president, Bill Clinton has access to the same intelligence briefings as George Bush. Could it be possible that he is sharing this information with his wife and she understands the need to support the White House on their Iran initiatives?

Now the trolls are really reaching.

It does tell the other democrats though how much Hillary is in the republican camp and in agreement with the current administration.

Like I said earlier, Hillary attacked the person trying not to answer the question. Fortunately for us, the guy was calm and collected and forced her to answer the question.

Hillary is not Bill, can't shoot from the hip.

It is also clear she doesn't read what she votes for, and this is not what we want for a President.

UTA,

"The far-left vocal and well financed wackos will sink her for sure. You know- the DailyKos and Moveon.org crowd."

As often as you are correct, you really missed the boat on this one. Who do you think MoveOn.Org was started to protect? The Clitons INVENTED the vast right wing conspiracy in order to get the libs and lessers into lock step. They dismiss anything that doesn't come from the Clitons or the left as "unreliable propaganda" or "misinformation" which means they no longer refute it, the followers are already trained to not believe. Some of the better trained are capable of even responding by saying something thoughtful like "the reichwing will stoop to any level to win." or "you only believe that because you signed a loyalty oath" or make some passing reference to "talking points"...because they FIRMLY and incorrectly believe that they actually arrived at their beliefs themselves.

This is the danger of allowing trial lawyers into politics. Other than being able to lie believably, they know that people will invest in the things they believe if they believe that they thought of those beliefs. It so happens that the libs and lessers have actually believe THEY decided to believe....not that anyone else told them...and they therefore believe with all of their hearts what they are told. They will vote for the Hildebeast because they believe that they have decided it is the 'morally right' thing to do, not because it is, but because they have been told that by their handlers.

I am not a clinton supporter but if she continues to allow the public to ask the questions and also allow those same people not let her skate the issue she will gain far more in the voting public.

Far too long has the media allowed the politicians to have softballs in questions and allowed them to skirt the actual issues.

The hit here may be a blessing depending on how she continues the forums in the future.

"Clinton Grilled by Iowa Voter"

well done please, and my dog likes his with wasabi.

Now the trolls are really reaching.

Moneywar - It certainly couldn't be the case that there are people that have access to a lot more information than you do that leads them to different conclusions.

A long time ago, as a young Vietnam Vet who was against the administration of the time, I had a very long, well-considered discussion about global politics and the use of the military with a relative who was a senior-level General in the Air Force. At one point he stopped, looked at me, and quietly said "If I could only tell you what I know, you would think differently".

Ms Hillary will be a formidable opponent. She knows no limits in her drive to acquire power. She may benefit from the formation of a third party by the religious right as per the trial balloon of Rev. Dobson, if the Republicans enter a pro-choice candidate and/or one who supports "homosexual marriage," and other hot button issues for many religious folk.

If this third party were to materialize, or if the religious right were encouraged to abstain, Ms Hillary would be a shoo in.

But there are dark horses looming among the Republicans, Gov. Huckabee, and Sen. Thompson just might displace Mayor Giuliani. The religious right today recoils from Gov. Romney despite his qualifications due to his religious affiliation. The "issues" would certainly be defined if either Gov. Huckabee or Sen. Thomposon carried the Republican standard, and Ms Hillary carried the Democrat standard.

I suspect that Ms Hillary would diligently conduct the war in Iraq and would win the support of the media in so doing. The opposition to the Iraq war, which war is a necessary undertaking, is quite contrived as a political ploy. Mr. Bush and the Democratic leadership were all aware of the circumstance, and Mr. Bush's presentation continued in the language of the preceding Clinton Administration.

Political power is a wonderful thing to wield. If only Ms Hillary had a scintilla of charisma, she would be a far more successful politician. Now she's pulling herself up on husband Bill's bootstraps. Otherwise, she be a nonentity. But the historical attachment and current reality exists.

I know she is going to get elected. It was decided at the bohemian grove this year, its all a show. She is part of the system.
Wait till she gets in, and watch the rest of your freedom get removed. Including the right to a doctor.

911 was in part designed to be "leaked" at eection time. Shrubs bnesman name is "temporary" His main work is to tick off the right so they go left
Hill is a guaranteed win, no doubt about it.

Then big brothers fist will crush you.

Tough questioning, my foot.

That same reporter probably practiced with her at lunch that day until they got it right.

here is the rule in politics.
It is so controlled that NOTHING HAPPENS BY CHANCE ANY MORE.
All is contrived.

Hill is ALREADY PRESIDENT in the future.
It's a done deal. My time traveler friend told me.
It cannot be stopped, it is a done deal. Watch the opression, like a jack booted foot, in the face, over and over, forever.

"poor hillary?"

What a sucker.

YET ANOTHER HILLARY ENTITLEMENT PROGRAM.

Hillary says that she is tossing the idea of a $5,000 baby bonus. Golly, I wonder why that would be? Truth is, she drove that wreck into the electoral parking lot and it dented far too many fenders.

So ... when one income redistribution plan fails, just roll in another. See if this one will do better.

So ... here is Hillary Rodham's latest great idea for a new entitlement program. American Retirement Accounts. Hillary proposes that every citizen have a 401(k)-type retirement account. You can put up to $1,000 annually in the account and the government will match 100% of it (if you make less than $60,000).

How will she pay for this? Taxes!! The $20 to $25 billion cost of this entitlement program would be paid for by death taxes levied on estates of more than $7 million per couple. She says that this will help "narrow the gap" between the evil rich and the "unfortunate" people who don't have enough savings for retirement.

OK .. rather than going through a long narrative on Hillary's latest tax-and-spend plan, let me just give you some bullet points.

For every dollar families earning less than $60,000 a year put into their account the federal government will match that dollar up to $1000. This will be called a "refundable tax credit."

Refundable tax credits are a scam.

In the mid 1970s I purchased my first home. Builders were having a tough time selling homes back then, so the government instituted a $2000 tax credit for anyone purchasing a newly-built home. This meant that I could take when I filled out my tax return I would subtract whatever I owed the government by $2000, and pay the difference. If my tax liability minus $2000 equaled zero or less, then I simply didn't pay any federal income taxes, and that was the end of the story.

That is not the way "refundable" tax credits work. With the modern invention of the "refundable" tax credit you once again subtract the credit from the taxes you owe the federal government. BUT ... if the tax credit is more than the taxes you owe, the government pays you the difference! In other words, the government uses its police power to seize the difference between the amount of taxes you owed and the amount of your credit from some other individual, and then hands that money over to you.

Income redistribution ... pure and simple.

Hillary's little savings scheme isn't going to cost the "government," as she say, $20 to $25 billion. Much of that money is simply seized by the government and handed over.

Now .. if Hillary gets her little entitlement plan passed, let me tell you what the future holds in store. In campaign after campaign Democrats will tell the voters "Vote for me and we'll increase the contribution limit for your American Retirement Account. Vote for that evil Republican running against me and he will take your money away!

By the way ... you don't have to work to get this handout. Of course if you don't work, you don't have income. If you don't have income you don't owe income taxes. That would mean that every single non-working person in this country would just have to find $1000 somewhere to put into this account and the government would rush forward to match it with someone else's money.

Illegal aliens? I don't know. She hasn't said yet. Maybe someone will ask this dangerous woman if she plans to set up these accounts for illegals. The answer should be interesting.

Something else interesting: Hillary says that less than half the families in the U.S. have retirement savings accounts. Another lie. Ever heard of Social Security? Now instead of creating this new entitlement program, why not just establish private accounts for each and every poor sap paying into Social Security right now? Oh wait, I forgot. The politicians need those Social Security taxes to fund their vote-buying programs.

Watch this woman. All she seems to be doing lately is coming up with ideas for government entitlement programs ... and government entitlement programs are nothing more than wealth redistribution programs. Check your scorecard we have:

* Nationalized Health Care.
* The Baby Bonus
* American Retirement Accounts
* Hillary's idea of government involvement in our children's education even before kindergarten!

In the meantime ... have you heard one single idea from Hillary that would increase your personal freedom? Have you heard one single idea that would decrease the intrusiveness or the power of the Imperial Federal Government? How about one idea that would promote competition in the free market?

You're right ... you haven't.

You haven't because Hillary Clinton worships the God of Government. This is a woman who feels that there are only a select few in this country who are capable of ordering and living their own lives without guidance from those smarter and more capable than they. This is a woman who believes to the depth of her soul that you can't exist without embrace of government guiding your every step and picking you up every time you stumble.

To Hillary Rodham Clinton, self sufficiency is a vice.

the above comments from Neal....

This is what happens when you don't require Loyalty Oaths to hear someone speak

Too funny. Watching you guys twist around with each other over one of your own.

How about dealing with reality?

What is real? T
he republican guard IS KILLING Americans in Iraq with shaped charges that they deploy.

The republican guard is now the RICHEST group in IRAN as they control every aspect of Iranian life as the enforcer arm of the Gov.

The people are up in arms in Iran and want to over through the Gov. but the Rep Guard is keeping them down.

Yet you are LESS CONCERNED that IRAN gets a NUKE than with the authorization that may let our government DO something about it. You seem so SCARED that BUSH might bomb IRAN - WHY?

Isn't it better that they do not get a NUKE? And if the bill starts shutting off funding to the REP. Guards - Is it not better that the people of IRAN get a fighting chance at freedom?

Please...you all cannot be so wrapped around the axle that you cannot see the bigger picture.

Isn't it better that they do not get a NUKE?

LOL!!!

Nukes don't mean shit...period. Why? It would be suicide for them to use em.

And in case you didn't know, this is not about nukes, it is about OIL, blackgold, Texas Tea just like Iraq.

Pull your headout.

Money,

Bullshit. That is what you guys said about the IRAQ war...we were going in there to lower oil prices and control the oil wells.

Well - we do not control the oil wells and the Iraqi government keeps all the oil money...guess you were wrong about that huh?

If Iran gets a nuke they want to use it to threaten their neighbors and they have stated that they will use it against Israel.

You say that is crazy - Huh - we say you are crazy to believe the GW clap trap.

You guys say about Global Warming " Well what if we are right?" - So what if WE are RIGHT and they DO use it against ISRAEL?

Millions dead - but you would be against us going after them ( I can hear it now "so many innocents will be killed" ) Ignoring the fact that they just wiped out millions.

So what if...

If we start taking actions by "what ifs" then you would be in jail!

The rest of your post, just plainly, doesn't make any sense.

What part doesn't make sense?

Iran wants a Nuke - you say -so what, let them have it.

- I say if we do they are going to use it -

you say "If we start taking actions by "what ifs" then you would be in jail!"

And I say if we do not take action then Israel may not exsit.

And the point being - which is the bigger tragedy -we stop them from getting it...or they get it and use it.

Foshaffer-
I'm sure you've signed up for service in either the Israeli or US armed forces, since it's such a watershed moment in the history of the planet.

What if North Korea gets nukes then they'll use em!

Oops, they have em and whaaaat!!! You mean they have not used them. But wait, they are the evil evil communists, but they have not used them.

Your arguments are so sophomoric that they are not worthy of continued comment.

North Korea did use them....to black mail us and 5 other nations to support their failed economy. (Nuke technology given to them by Clinton in an "agreement" that they would not use the power technology it to get Nukes (and why then did we sell them a breader reactor instead of one that uses non-fissionable fuel?)- (and for $2M in Campaign contributions)

Just because you can only see 1 step ahead does not mean arguments are sophomoric.

North Korea did use them....to black mail us and 5 other nations to support their failed economy.

Yes. They got them on Bush's watch.

Foshaffer-
re: (Nuke technology given to them by Clinton in an "agreement" that they would not use the power technology it to get Nukes (and why then did we sell them a breader reactor instead of one that uses non-fissionable fuel?)

1. The weapons that NK has are plutonium weapons (not "fission" weapons)

2. They were developed on Bush's watch.

3. The Bush administrations' new agreement with NK is precisely the one Clinton had, only now NK has half a dozen or so fusion bombs.

Foshaffer-
And when did NK kick out the monitors and remove the seals on the old reactor that Clinton shut down?

When Bush was ridding Iraq of the WMD that could soon become a "mushroom cloud" over America.

Fancy that.

"The nation that invented the Internet is now ranked about 25th in access to it," Clinton said in her latest speech directed at the middle class appeals.

And yet she still really doesn't understand why this is so.

Her solution:

Called "Connect America," Clinton's broadband network would give businesses incentives to go into underserved areas, support state- and local-based initiatives and change the Federal Communication Commission rules to more accurately measure Internet access.

Business incentives????? She acts like the internet is not available around the country. If you can use a cell phone you have internet access. If you can use a phone you have internet access.

Really in touch with America, but she is going to help business that's for sure, fuck the regular American though!

"In the 19th century, we invested in railroads. In the 20th century, we built the interstate highway system. In the 21st century information economy we need to invest in our information infrastructure."

Clinton also advocated making permanent the research and experimentation tax credits, which more than 15,000 companies have used since they began 1981.

"We cannot rebuild a strong and prosperous middle class if we don't have a new source of new jobs," Clinton said. "Our country is a country of innovators. We're not acting like it right now, but we have all the potential to get into gear quickly."

See once again Hillary shows she is not in touch with the realities of what is going on in America.

Lets' give 15,000 more companies money but do nothing as those companies get the money and send the jobs to India and China.

Moronic and people are actually fallin over to vote for this nitwit!

Sad!

WEBSTER CITY, Iowa - Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton proposed tax cuts of up to $1,000 a year on Tuesday to encourage millions of working-age families to open personal 401(k) retirement accounts. The New York senator said the program would be paid for through higher estate taxes.

What the hell?????

Clearly she is again out of touch with reality.

The only people who can afford 401Ks are the top 45% of the nation but we pay for it if you own a home. Well that's 73% of the nation. Looks like Bush all over again!!
