I hear ya, 101. Sharpton has absolutely no credibility with me. Jackson used to command respect, but that was long ago.

Still, sounds like some legitimate issues to debate here. Nooses and all-white juries? Why are we still enduring such nonsense? Remnants of Old South thinking still taint everyday public interaction at times, and it's a damn shame.

When I see as much outrage over the white couple tortured by the 6 or so blacks by the Reverand Al then maybe...nah, I'll never understand why he is newsworthy.

The NAACP need to start thinking harder about what causes they decide to protest about. From what little I have read this just doesn't seem to amount to a legitimate civil rights case. Apparently they beat an innocent white kid who wasn't involved in the "nooses" etc. and sucker punched him then beat and kicked him. I don't know why anyone would come out to protest the rightful punishment of such thugish behavior.

obviously alot of this is He-said She-said type crap and tough to figure out exactly what happened, but

the noose, all white jury, the AD coming to the school and telling the students (with apparent direction at the black students) that he can take their life with his pen, charging the kids with attempted murder, very dismissive of the actions of the white kids actions-one of the Jena 6 kids was beat up by whites and reportedly hit in the head with a beer bottle, little happened to the white kid in that situation.

Just because there were no Blacks on the jury doesn't mean that every white person on that jury was a racist...

In fact, isn't it a little racist to automatically assume that if there were a Black man or woman on that jury that they would automatically vote not guilty?

personally i have seen more Black Racist people than White , a large majority of Blacks in the south feel they are "owed" something, and have a "chip" on there shoulder and are just daring someone to knock it off.. .... just my personal view and what I have seen, I try and keep an open mind, but alot of the time, i get disapointed with what happens, maybe one day it will get better... but until then those race warlords like jessie jackson and sharpton are just giving black in the south a bad name..

I can say it is understandable.

Common your comment confuses me. So your saying that my next door neighbor who is in the same socio-economic class as me is not my peer because he is black and I am white?
