Corky and Ray get the moment of clarity award...As I have been saying for a couple of years, South Korea is exactly what the foreign policy wonks in Foggy Bottom have been pining for in Iraq since before the invasion. Whether that ultimately means that we get that split three ways in a loose confederation of states under a weak central government or under a united Iraq, we haven't built a large number of bases in Iraq to give them up any time soon.

How can Al Quida/ Bin Laden be praising the 9/11 hijackers unless he supported them?????

And Dave, I don't think anyone's disputing that OBL had anything to with 9/11. You may want to get your glasses cleaned or up your dosages. Let's also talk about shameless hypocrites for a moment, since you're hot for the term. Hypocrisy is saying one thing and doing another. This President has railed over and over again about supporting the troops, but shits on them the next minute. Sending some of them back to Iraq for a 4th tour? 15 month deployments with 2 weeks in between? Sending them without sufficient equipment? And above all, sending them to a country that had nothing to do with 9/11.

And back to the subject of OBL. He said he was going to get him dead or alive, now, because he's failed in that objective, some wank from the WH says he's "impotent" in the hopes that we'll all accept that as success. "impotent" is not Mission Accomplished. This administration tried (barely) and failed (miserably). I'm now confident that a monkey in a tutu could do a better job of running this country than Shrub has.
