Wow I was just at my parents house and was looking through the books I read as a kid. My daughter was with me and I was making suggestions. We found a wrinkle in time and a wind in the door.

Too bad loved those books.

WAKE UP, ANTI-WAR PEOPLE!: PHIL BERG
SnowShoe Films
17 min 3 sec - Sep 8, 2007

On behalf of client William Rodriguez, Atty. Berg reports on his RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) suit against the "mob in the White House" responsible for 9/11.
Berg alleges foreknowledge, failure to warn, failure to prevent, and cover-up. Berg suggests also that the slumber of anti-war people on the question of 9/11 has much to do with infiltration and financing of the anti-war movement. "Wake up!"

Oops! Wrong thread....

Don't be concerned, Jeff. It's GIGO time, and the materials you're posting are as appropriate on this thread as any other. Garbage In Garbage Out.

After all, this is an equal opportunity country, and no matter how absurd a view is, it can receive exposure. In fact, in the U.S. madness has become an industry.

I think that the drive during the Reagan Administration to empty out the asylums was an excellent idea. But now that the inmates are extant, remember that freedom is a horrible thing to waste, so contribute your observations and conclusion. Go for it and exercise your "mind."

Keep pounding, Johnson. Perhaps a framed 8x10 of your beloved St. Ronnie will help put you in the mood. I don't know what it is that you think you're "exercising," but it ain't your mind.

Hey guys this is about Madeleine L'Engle, not anybody else.

I really enjoyed Wrinkle In Time - it was an incredible story.

Be blessed, Madeleine.

I mentioned this book just a couple of weeks ago here on the DR. Somehow a thread wandered OT (imagine that!) and got on SF. I mentioned that "A Wrinkle in Time" was one of the first science fiction books I had ever read and got me started on my love of the genre.

On another note, I was telling my niece about this book about a year ago. She surprised me with a first edition copy of it for Christmas last year. (I collect old books)

To be honest, I had no idea Madeline L'Engle was still alive. But it is sad to hear of her departure. Perhaps she is like the ant in the story and stepped across a fold in the fabric.

"wrinkle" was the first of... I think it was a series of five books, but i don't remember specifically. I remember these books well.

I can only say, "bummer, man".
