This administration is so corrupt, I have a problem trusting anything that comes out of it. We have seen numerous investigations come and go and what do we have to show for it. I had high hopes during the Valerie Plame investigation but was let down again after it was proven that the leak came from Cheney's office. Investigations from this administration mean absolutely nothing if it hurts the republican party.

I feel sorry for Gonzo. I hope he comes out unscathed.

For one thing, the Dems have lost a great deal of Latino votes because of this. Just wait and see the election result.

Except for the pain Gonzo went through, even Rove couldn't have engineered a better coup to anger Latinos against dems in this saga.

I don't think Gonzo's resignation will hurt anyone with Latino voters, except maybe the Grand Old Party Poopers.

For one thing, the recent flurry of anti-illegal-alien laws happened on Gonzo's watch.

For another, Latinos like their role models honest and hardworking. Gonzo's honesty is extremely open to question, and the only thing he seems to work at is having memory lapses.
