Even before Bush became president, Tenet briefed Bush, Rice, and Cheney on what the CIA considered the three greatest threats to the US. One of those threats was OBL and Al-Qaeda. What did Bush do between January 2001 and 9/11 to deal with that threat? Start digging, lapdog, start digging.

The guy who was really asleep at the wheel was the Cowboy from Crawford. Prior to beocming president, he, Cheney, and Rice received a briefing from Tenet in which the DCIA identified what he perceived at the three greatest threats to the US. One of those threats was OBL and Al-Qaeda. What did the Cowboy do about that threat between January 2001 and 9/11?

I think Bush and Rice did an admirable job during the summer of 2001, when the NSA, CIA, and the guy down at the Kwikee-Mart said al queda was going to attack in the late summer or early fall. He had 3/4 of a year to fix any problems, along with being told that "OBL determined to attack inside the US"........but don't mention that, it spoils your argument.
