I was curious how a pair of Gucci shoes would compare to Edward's famous $400 haircut. From the Gucci website, a pair of loafers runs about $540.

So Edwards spends $400 on a haircut that should have cost maybe 40-50, and Thompson spent $540 on shoes that should have cost maybe 80-100.

It'll be interesting to see if those who have been attacking Edwards now round on Thompson. I mean, Edwards overspent by $350, but Thompson overspent by $440.

Maybe Thompson's case is the rule rather than the exception. Maybe not. But again, comparing what Hillary or any other declared candidate is raising is not germane to the topic.
