INCUBU_CON ... "Just what is it you think corporations are?"
A corporation is a legal entity that shields its members, or stockholders from legal and civil liability. Furthermore, the corporation is legally considered a "Juristic Person" which enjoys many of the same rights and privileges as a "real person". The difference is that a corporation cannot be incarcerated for breaking the law on behalf of its stockholders. In fact, if it is more profitable for a corporate entity to break the law than to abide the law, or to disregard: human rights, worker safety, labor laws, environmental regulations, consumer protection regulations, employment regulations, etc. the corporation MUST DO SO or be open to civil action by its stockholders ...
INCUBU_CON ... "You think it's an IT?"
Yes I do "think it's an IT". Unfortunately the law sees "IT" as a person ...
INCUBU_CON ... "Corporations are people, and my guess is that you either work for one or contract to one, unless of course you work for the largest corporation of the corporations, ie, the govt"
Corporations aren't "people". Corporations are legal entities that act on behalf of their stockholders (who ARE people). And, if you knew me you'd see the inherent humor of your presumption...
INCUBU_CON ... "If you don't have 70 bucks a month for a health policy on a kid, don't buy a new car or buy or rent more house than you can afford. Drop the cigarettes the beer and eat some fu---n hamburger instead of t-bones"
I don't have children, I drive and own used vehicles, I smoke cigarettes, and I am still for the S-Chip program ...
INCUBU_CON ... "If you don't have a car or a house or a job, don't worry, you already have health coverage, it's called Medicaid"
I do, I do and I am self employed ... And, I do not have any health coverage.
INCUBU_CON ... "Nobody has to try hard, EVERYTHINGS FREE! Right, left? We can all be miserable together..."
Well, you've obviously never been poor. And, if "EVERYTHING'S FREE" why would anyone be miserable? I think what you meant to say is: "(everyone else) can be miserable together (as long as the Right doesn't have to)" ...
INCUBU_CON ... "You want to see the model of socialized medicine vist a VA"
Yeah ... Nothing is too good for our veterans, (as long as the Right doesn't have to endure the same), right, Right? And actually, a better example of socialized medicine is Canada, and most Canadians wouldn't trade their medical system for any other model ...
INCUBU_CON ... "Fu---n bunch of whiney ass liberals. Misery loves company. Ship of fools indeed"
Well, being a political centrist I can't speak for Liberals. But, the main difference that I see between the Right and Left is that the Left is willing to try to ease the "misery" of their fellow Americans, while the Right would opt for allowing them to starve in the streets to enhance their own bottom line...
What the Right doesn't realize is that a better overall economic position for every American ensures better economic growth for our society as a whole. Therefore, an overall increase in the bottom line of all Americans will result in growth of the bottom line of the Middle Class, as-well-as the wealthy and the super-wealthy ...
The ideology that an economic helping hand to the "have-nots" will have a negative impact on the bottom line of those that "have" is a myth perpetrated by the Corporation. This "myth" is designed to create an uneducated labor-force, and a separate indentured consumptive market; which is the ideal economic environment for the Corporation: SHIP OF FOOLS INDEAD ...
