The White House said Friday that it had given the Central Intelligence Agency approval to resume its use of some severe interrogation methods for questioning terrorism suspects in secret prisons overseas.

Is that the latest euphamism for torture? And I was just getting used to agressive interrogation :(

Now we'll know what to call it when the american people storm the white house and capture these criminals.

Torture by another name. Go USA!

Bush Greenlights?

Only after getting Uncle Dickey's permission first, of course.

Some Bush administration officials, including members of Vice President Dick Cheney's staff, pushed for a more expansive interpretation of Geneva Convention language and for interrogation methods that the C.I.A. had not even requested.

Unless Dickless' staff are acting on their own here.

Highly doubtful.

Be Well.

Is a colonoscopy a form of torture?

I think most people would answer yes.

Preparing for a colonoscopy makes Montezuma's revenge look like a cake walk. But the Fentanyl, oh the Fentanyl.

18 more months of GW is cruel and unusual punishment.

Criminals and terrorists will be uncomfortable!

Oh My!

We should give them weekends off at the Radisson, with room service and in-room massage, just to appease Liberal fools.

This dickhead is out of control.

Vernon- Yeah, trials and evidence are for lesser govts.

Nimrod.

"Nimrod"

My ex used to call me that.

There are some people who're proud to be called "Nimrods":

BTW, if you're still on good terms with you ex, you could always buy her something appropriate for her next birthday or holiday: www.seekerworld.com

I am certain that the rightwingers on this site will either agree with the decision to give a wink and nod at the use of torture. Or in the alternative, rightwingers will parse words to claim that GWB is not actually sanctioning torture. The level of doublespeak coming from the typical conservative at this point is beyond anything in American history.

I recently had one. It wasn't too bad, quite honestly. I was pretty much out of it during most of the prep, procedure and follow up.
I can think of many things worse than what I had to go through.

Severe questioning gooood.
Torture baaaddd!*

*Thus saith Mister Bush in his recent Executive order.

WTF is the difference?

The Fentanyl was really great.
The prep was violently exhausting, to say the least.
But knowing the doc didn't find shit, so to speak, worth the 5 grand.

" worth the 5 grand"

Thank God (or my healthcare plan) for paying most of the bill!

My mind is more at ease now.

I guess that means the east coast won't be safe now. You know, them guys lie when they are subject to agressive questioning.

Why the upset? Didn't George W. say, "We don't torture" just a week or so ago?
George cannot tell a lie, oops!, wrong George.

George W. what a guy, risking brain damage, took the colonostopy like a hero.

These things will all be presented at his trial if they get off their ass and have it.

JUST DO IT!!!!
