His work with the Chad Mitchell Trio was of a piece with the time, both highly professional and socially commendable. Those were the days when music was a teacher, a response to troubled times, soothing balm for aching souls. That boy played a pretty mean kazoo. Jim Mitchell now rejoins the late, great John Denver to make wonderful music in Heaven.

Based on what?

Given the overwhelming numbers of men who view pornography on the internet, it seems a bit hypocritical to be accusing a pornographer of being a slime. It would be different if it were not likely that every man reading this article on the net had not, at some point or another, surfed looked for dirty pictures to get excited about. In fact, according to a study I read a few months back, it is likely that most men using the DR right now, will within 48 hours period be viewing dirty pictures on the same computer on another site.

Actually, the study was about men and internet use. It had nothing to do with any specific blog site.

Well, I can guarantee you it won't be me. After 10 years of editing and repurposing adult material for the last company I worked for, I've seen enough of that swill to last me a lifetime.

Here's my analogy: Like ice cream? Then don't ever work in an ice cream factory, as you will never eat ice cream again.

And I'm sorry for my thoughtless swipe at the recently departed Mr. Michell. After working for so long in that business, I have a knee jerk auto-response when it comes to porn. Plus, I had just heard that another old friend of mine had died yesterday, and I was a little grumpy at the time I spotted the Mitchell thread. Sorry.
