So what? Boating is dangerous, so is fishing. If you don't have something in front of you to block flying projectiles, then you are fair "game"!

This reminds me of years ago when a barricuda or two inflicted bite damage to a couple of anglers. Next thing you know they are being portrayed in the press as dangerous! Leave it to a writer who knows nothing about the subject to which he writes, to distort the story for sensationalism. BTW Cuda's are only dangerous if you try to reel one in, they just might launch themselves at you...with their teeth showing!!

Next thing you know we'll be warned that morey eels might bite you (if your stupid enough to pet them)

anybody else see the cnn report on the asian carp problem in the mississippi river a few weeks ago? they submerged electrodes to get the fish jumping I think but it was pretty funny seeing the cnn reporter get hit by 30lb carp @ 30 mph, smacked that mofo down

Jumping sturgeon is pretty cool, I would love to get on a boat and take some pics...And if one decides to jump in the boat, the sturgeon is more than welcome to do so...lol

Let's start advertising that eating Asian carp makes your hair grow, improves your sex life and makes you lose weight. We'd see an end to that fish problem right quick!

ya, that might work... carp can be pretty tastey fish if it's cooked right.. but there's a lot of people that see it for what it is .. a bottom feeder. same thing with cat fish, but the people that complain about catfish & carp seem to have no problem with lobsters and stuff like that, too bad I guess. Carp isn't that bad of a dinner fish...

i'd eat carp first if that was the choice between it and salmon. It's all about the taste.

Man that was a great youtube vid. Those are big and easy to catch. I bet a commercial market can be made for those fish. Strangely, I have no sympathy for the boaters or motorers
