Somebody do me a favor? Just see if you can bring up Google on your computer. I keep trying and all I get is one of those:

More disgusting warblings from the "Blame America First" crowd

MSNBC reported that the Feds opened this investigation back in January 2006 and there were no leaks to the press to tip off the terrorists. It took them a year and a half, but they finally got enough evidence to arrest them.

Great job guys!!!

Kudos and thanks to the all the people and agencies involved for keeping America safe once again.

It just seems mighty coincidental that every time Dubya's points are down or someone's cutting him down we have another failed terrorist attempt that the FBI just happened to have been investigating for a year or more and stopped just in the nick of time for Dubya to get the credit for it.

It was raised on a farm but sold to a hunting preserve. The people who frequent those places wouldn't make a pimple on a REAL hunter's azz. Disgusting...I get the same reaction as I do to bullfights.

re: Fred...I said it before on the original thread...I read that it took the kid 8 shots with a feakin' .50cal handgun to bring down what was essentially an oversized farm animal. Another freakin' controlled hunt. I believe an animal that size and of that age can't be slaughtered for the meat as it's against FDA regs. (I may be wrong about that...perhaps pinche can steer me in the right direction.

Anyway, I remember when I was on the short side of 11 having to dress out then haul a 180lb mule deer over 8 miles back to my dad's truck with the sun going down and the temperature creeping into the low 30s. It only took me one shot with a .306 single shot bolt action at about 200 yards. If I had gone banging away with 8 shots trying to seriously bring down that deer, my old man would have never taken me hunting again. Just sayin.'

By 5 am in the snow covered woods.

1 shot kill 2 hours later.

Then the dressing and hauling out took most of the rest of the days sunlight.

Later a big neighbourhood outdoor BBQ with roasted pig and venison-burgers.

Replete with many an overly embellished tale of the day from all sides.

THAT kinda hunting Spud's got no probs with.
