$1 million dollars for a top Afghan AQ leader...

$15 million dollars for each of Saddam's sons.

$25 million for Saddam.

$200,000 for three missing soldiers.

Lesseee......hmmm the math is too difficult.

The first thing I would demand -- before the $250,000 -- would be guaranteed U.S. visas for my entire family, a plane ride out of Iraq straight to the U.S. and entry into the witness protection program.

kind of funny you should mention that.
i remember seeing an interview with a guy who was part of a team searching for WMD in iraq after sadam fell.
he said he knew they were in it deep when they offered the same deal mentioned above and nobody came forward

Yeah, there is a reason I carry the "last resort 9mm round) taped inside my kevlar.

I killed a dog with 9mm a few decades ago.

Worthless piece of shit pissant round.

Took two clips to kill the poor fucker.

Since then I bought a Model 29.
One shot, one kill.

Funny, Osama is worth more and so are other terrorists and nobody is talking

I'm sure that offering big financial rewards for captured American soldiers is going to be a very effective deterrent against more incidents like this one.

Exactly what nut-job is loose inside the Pentagon and/or White House? Whatever happened to "We don't negotiate with terrorists"?

Madness! Utter Madness.

Its too bad the dog didn't get you first!

If they were captured as I suspect, they are suppose to keep fighting to the death. If they are alive, they now know they should have fought because they will die a horrible death.

If they were captured alive, they are a prize and it will take a few weeks to get the video out.

They were probably captured alive.

They are undoubtedly wounded.

They may no longer be alive.

If they are there will be a video.

It won't come out until after a fruitless search which will prolly leave hearts and minds even further hardened against the occupation force.

That's part of the plan here.

It's about demoralising the troops.

It's about getting more folk to stop co-operating with the occupation force and getting them to join with the insurgents.

It aint about the money.

Yeah, there is a reason I carry the "last resort 9mm round) taped inside my kevlar"

That's one plan.

Better than letting these whackos take ya alive.

Spud hopes Trooper never has occasion to use it.

Sincerely.

Be Well.

If they are dead which may be likely then burying the bodies and saying nothing would be an effective propoganda coup.

Then the US would spend time, money and men trying to find something which can't be found.

Its a very scary idea that gets into soldiers heads that if captured your body may never be recovered for your family.

Odds are they didn't surrender per se but simply ran out of ammo and had no support (ground or air) to help them out. This would be by far the most depressing situation a soldier could be in I would think.

Indicative of how poorly the US is engaged in Iraq if true.

Furio
....the location where they manned a check-point was rigged with a bomb...after the explosion, the survivors were taken away....four others died on the spot......I doubt the survivors were fit for a firefight......

One shot, one kill.

Sweet!

I thought we didn't negotiate with terrorists?

They don't want money, they want virgins. Lots of virgins. The promise of sex will line them up. At least it does for suicide bomers.
