Woman survives 'internal decapitation'

Even her surgeon calls her a miracle.

Shannon Malloy was critically injured January 25 when a car crash slammed her into the dashboard. Her skull separated from her spine, although her skin, spinal cord and other internal organs remained intact.

How long a time do you think it would take for someone who had internal capitation to grow enough muscle and stuff back for the head to bond again to the neck and hold up straight on its own?

A news release from the White House:

The President was severely injured in a biking accident. The President suffered severe head injuries and was in surgery for no less than seven minutes. The entire contents of his cranium were found to be very runny and smelly. A garden hose was used to remove this vile substance.

I'm guessing she'll never be back to 100% and most likely will either have artificial mechanical stabilization (pins, plates, & screws) or they'll have to fuse her head to her 1st vertebrae. I'm not an expert by any means, but I would compare it to dislocating a shoulder-once it happens, it makes it much easier for it to happen again.
