My comparision was from what I perceive as the left's "view" of Rush.

The US is not a religious country. It is not a Christian country. It is secular.

The GOP is not, its solid base has been built on practicing Chritians and driven by evangelicals. I would make a leap of faith so to speak and say that a slim majority of Christians in the US are non-religious.

It is an intelligent thing to reduce carbon emmissions rather than face the unknown impact of current levels or the trend of increased levels.

Rosie, Fox News, and Donald Trump helped revive the ratings for the View. The View, Fox News, and Donald Trump also help revive Rosie's career as her own talk show was no longer on the air.

There was no attempt to strip her freedom of speech. I think people get a tv-business confused with people's rights. If Rosie was such a crusader for freedom of speech, she would have invited some conservative viewpoints to her own talk show when it was on the air. The program, "the View" was the first time ever I seen her debate anyone face to face.

The Donald and Rosie saga was instigated by her. Instead of one show face to face with Donald, they barked at each other for a number of days and weeks. It was good for ratings and it was good for more than one show on the View.

Rosie is not going to like my saying this but it's what feel about her. I don't really think much of Rosie's opinions, they are not well thought out, and she doesn't do her homework. She loves kids and all that which is fine as long as she doesn't give them adult type language.

All in all, if it were not for Fox News I wouldn't know what she was saying on the View. I think Fox News didn't have much on other issues to discuss, so Rosie got some media on there.

ABC is reporting that it has been unable to come to a contractual agreement with Rosie O'Donnell. As a result, her hosting duties on The View will come to an end mid-June.

An article by ABC news states:

So here we are a year later, and while we've tried to come to terms on a deal that would extend her co-hosting duties on 'The View,' we find ourselves unable to agree on some key elements.

Despite controversy -- or maybe because of it -- O'Donnell was good business for ABC, owned by the Walt Disney Co. Ratings for "The View" during February sweeps were up 15 percent in key women demographics over the same time in 2006.

We can reveal that the "key elements" that could not be agreed upon were O'Donnell's propensity to continue to expose the fraud that is the government's official story of 9/11 and her pledge of allegiance to 9/11 truth.

Prominent 9/11 truth sources close to O'Donnell revealed to Alex Jones weeks ago that Rosie had refused to have her first amendment rights restricted and was likely to quit on her own terms after she was asked to stay on the show by ABC with the proviso that she tone down her stance on the issue of 9/11.

Today this has been made official.

According to our source O'Donnell has described some involved with the production of The View as "Neocon gate-keepers" and found it impossible to continue as she was increasingly being heavily edited during recordings.

The same associates were also blocking Rosie from bringing on guests of her own choosing whom she believed would further expose the 9/11 cover up.

Barbara Walters, co owner of the view stated that she had no say in the contract negotiations and added on today's show that they are prepared to be inundated with letters, and that "We have not thought about a replacement."

O'Donnell had increased The View's viewership by 15 percent over the course of the year.

With Rosie and Trump it is obvious they consulted with Howard Stern about creating a public personal tiff to generate interest in a stagnant brand - The View. This is Howard's MO with his "crew" on his show.

Trump and WWF is also interesting.

I'm not sure how Trump benefits from it all. Saving The Apprentice? Or is he planning a launch of a new product for the general public? I'd say the latter. His property development business is too upscale to benefit from the childish antics.

I expect Rosie will have a new morning show in a few weeks with some incredible revenue sharing terms in her favor. My guess it will be tied in with Trump ,kicked off with a big teary eyed reconciliation.

Both will laugh their fat asses off to the bank.

Rosie is the Frankenstein that Barbara Walters created. The puppet got to say the things Barbara couldn't, but now Rosie wants to replace Barbara, so it's time for the master to pull the plug on the puppet.

I wasn't so much talking about "bloggers". I was more referring to the media and politicians. And, though nothing is absolute, I can think of MANY examples of broad and sweeping hate-filled statements bearing anti-American implications made about liberals by MANY (so called) "journalists" and "politicians" with affiliation to the conservative party.

However, when I think of remarks made by liberals, (journalists or politicians), they are usually, (not absolutely mind you), directed toward one individual or specific group, or the actions/statements made by one individual or specific group. Furthermore, these statements are (generally) specific criticisms, as opposed to sweeping party-wide condemnations of differing ideologies.

This is the "hate" difference that I was referring to.
