He didn't get his stolen moneys worth out of the campaign contributions did he?

Bummer, it ate my comment.

These guys end up spending so much and it's amazing it takes this long to discover the money is missing.

The fact this guy would steal that money and use it as their own and enjoy a lifestyle he has never had before, indicates this guy has been doing this for a long time prior to this episode. I can't imagine a person can think that way unless he's been getting away with a lot more to build up to it.

The fact he did do it and would have the gumption to plead not guilty indicates to me when you get to a certain level in politics, the money you have access to is yours if you learn how to spend it and know more money will be coming in so you can mask your own spending from it.

Just another in the long line of GOP fine family values they bring to the table. Expect a distressing litany of this kind of news for a very long time.

The GOPers have been quite busy looting America while the public has been held in thrall of "9/11" "9/11" "9/11" "Al-queda" "Al-queda" "Al-queda"...and an alert or two thrown in along the way.

"The corrupt activity charge was the most serious, carrying a mandatory 10-year prison sentence."

ouch!

What OOHRAH? No defense of one of the GOPs biggest fundraisers and contributors?

You're losing your touch!!

He's only 75% guilty, which is almost the same as totally innocent.
Sincerely;
Tom DeLay
PS When I told Dubya about this, he said "pardon?"

Separately, Noe pleaded guilty to funneling $45,000 to Bush's re-election campaign
Chimp change to be sure.

"Prosecutors did not say whether he used the money to make campaign contributions to Republicans, including President Bush."

If he had done so, then you know the prosecutors would have milked it to death.

So apparently any crime by any Republican automatically is worth a bash thread on DR. Watch out, OORAH, you may have a traffic ticket or be late on your utility bill.

That will just be more proof of 'widespread corruption' on the Right.

It seems that the average American thinks that now Vernon.

ha ha ha fuck tom noe that french fucker

Oh so now we are picking on the poor little ol'right. What is it with bullies? When they are finally faced with the consequences of what they have been doing they say: "oh please, please don't pick on little old me." I didn't mean to hurt anyone.

Could it be that bullies are really frightened little cowards? The war service records of this administration seems to suggest that this may be the case.

how's that indictment coming along with ACORN in MO? I believe it was 25,000+ fraudulant voter registrations

Yes, Harry Reid's $18 million bridge over the Colorado River "among other projects," included in last year's $286-billion federal transportation bill "provided benefits not only for the casino town of Laughlin, Nev., but also, possibly, for the senator himself," since just across the river lies 160 acres of Reid's land. Reid denies any personal financial interest in his efforts to secure the funding...can you say media bias...

This Noe thing is just ridiculous. Where was the oversight? Where was the State Auditor Betty Montgomery (R)? I'm thinking she was responsible for auditing the Ohio Workers Comp fund, right? What did the State Auditors office do during the years these funds were invested in coins? Apparently she turned her head or was not capable of auditing effectively. I'm assuming she looked the other way. That's why the Ohio electorate turned her into burnt toast when she ran this year for Attorney General, just like they burned most of the GOP hopefuls this year.

The Ohio GOP has bent themselves over the past few years and Ohio finally reamed them.

"Yes, Harry Reid's $18 million bridge over the Colorado River "among other projects," (blah blah blah)

I think they are still trying to build the interchange to Ted Steven's $250 million bridge to nowhere in Alaska. (Kerrin - is there ANYTHING you would ever admit Republicans did wrong? wtf?)
