The people in Iraq are at least fighting for something. It may all be tragically misguided, but at least the belief is real. Unlike America which seems to engage in ongoing wholesale slaughter out of ennui.

I am true believer the belief is real. The guys I run into seem pretty committed. These fellas are serious about thier killing. Very professional in thier executuion styles.
I'm not sure ennui is what our death rate is about. Maybe greed, lust and the other five deadly sins. And any moron can get a drivers license.

Have the decency to at least recognize that the invasion set the table for this chaos. Through a series of shocking blunders... you've broken down every social structure available to stem such a war and the clincher: you armed the different factions by not keeping tabs on the national guard or their weapons. How many weapon caches have been emptied in the last 3 years?

What was Powell's comment on this? Try hard, you might remember.

yea....we should've kept Saddam there...he would have thrown them in vats of acid, or off building...maybe into a wood chipper...thats the iraq these people love and want back.
