Former Vice President Al Gore said Sunday he hadn't rule out making a second bid for the White House, though he said it was unlikely.

I can already imagine the Dems saying that Gore wants to get RE ELECTED, ha.

member, you get the first funny flag I have ever given.

Rastaninjja I am frankly honored.

Gore seems a better candidate right now then Hillary. But maybe that is because he has been out of the political world and the constant criticism of the press.

So Gore gets to play an environmental activist, compassionate democrat, and hollywood star/loveable talk show guest all at once.

It will be interesting to see what would happen if he runs and he starts to have to take on his opponents like Hillary on the issues. And when the press starts to get rough.

But you know he won the popular vote.

Who does the press fawn over more, Algore or Hil?

What's the record for failed presidential candidates competing in the primary? The dems have at least two with Gore and Kerry.

Ladies and gentlemen, in this corner...

Let the games begin!

I saw him last night on Saturday Night Live and he was pretty good. In fact, after 5 years of Bush, Gore looks better by the minute.

"I invented Saturday Night Live"

--Al Gore

Cookfish I bet you don't even know how to cook fish.

I'd love to see Gore get the nod, or even Kerry. It seems losing is a resume builder.

"I invented the hanging chad."

--Al Gore

I bet Gore would have listened to all those pre 9-11 warnings, unlike Bush.
Was watching bin ladens footsteps or whatever on CNN and they quoted the August 2001 pdb, the one that says al queda was checking out targets in NY, the one Bush called an ass covering.
Also, the media guy who reported that al queda was telling him in June 2001 coffin makers would be busy in the US soon. This was same time bin laden was bragging about planning something big in the next few weeks.
Bush may have won in 2000, but America surely lost.

But you now he won the popular vote.

Yeah--fuck the majority--fuck democracy--my guy won--fuck you.

Al Gore is an incredibly intelligent, insightful, experienced, and compassionate person. He would have in 2000 been a stable wise president, and would make a great president anytime in the future.

Global warming, for which Gore is spending his time these days warning us about, happens to be a topic over which we're burying our heads. CO2 stays in the atmosphere for 100 years. The permafrost belt that circles the earth at the arctic, has for eons of time absorbed CO2. It is now melting and releasing CO2. The rainforests around the globe, our chief source of fresh oxygen, had simultaniously been cut down. We are in mortal danger as a planet unless we start to reverse the damge in the next 10 years. So say the eminent scientists of the world. We can ignore, but we can't hide.

Don't poo poo Gore, because of his work on behalf of our planet. Global warming is just as much and imminent threat to life as we know it as terrorism ever was. Them we can fight. But, you can't fight Mother nature.

With Bush in office, we need all the smart people we can get working on pressing issues of our time. Bush has accomplished nothing but being "a war president".

"Al Gore is an incredibly intelligent, insightful, experienced, and compassionate person."

Algore is an idoit, Tipper is even moreso.

Byte me.

Gore,

He tears the country apart because he just could not accept that the electoral college exists, and that he lost the election. He couldn't even carry his home state. The constitution is a master piece, and its legacy continues to steer America in the right direction.

You mean the Constitution Bush holds in disdain every time he tries to undermine it? The one he referred to when stating in anger, "Don't wave that in my face. The Constitution is only a God Damned piece of paper!!"

THAT Constitution?

Gore won the election. There were thousands of ballots never counted because of Katherine Harris' efforts. In counties you never heard about on TV because she'd persued legal manuevers to keep them out of the second count. Gore won it. Bush stole it. Gore graciously dropped it in the interest of America. And we ended up with the village idiot instead.

We couldn't read/understand the ballot designed by the democrats

disenfranchised

We weren't allowed to register to vote (on election day0

disenfranchised

We don't know how to use these damn voting machines

disenfranchised

Our votes were changed/destroyed/mis counted

disenfranchised

We had more votes than gw, but that damn electoial college STOLE~ the election from us

disenfranchised

Let Al run again? Go ahead he ought too but up a good fight with hillary

But your party will be

disenfranchised

Yes, the Constitution is a great document. Think Bush has even yet read the thing? Nah.

If Bush had followed his church, there would have been no invasion of Iraq.

If Bush tried to comprehend the Bible he says he wakes up to read each morning, he might decide secret prisons and Christianity don't really mix.

The man is definitely on his own program. Too bad it contains none of the major cultural influences of his own country.

Run, Al, run. Run run run! I will vote for you--on this side of the voting machine. I don't control what's inside it.

Let's hope this time we DON'T have a butterfly ballot designed by a woman who was a lifelong Republican--then became a Dem to design the ballot--then switched back (where does HER heart lie?). Let's hope we DON'T have huge lists disenfranchising thousands of minority non-felons whose names bore some remote resemblance to a felon somewhere, a list produced by a company with close GOP ties. Let's hope we DON'T have dirty tricks from one end of a swing state to another to deny Americans their right to vote.

I fully believe that a FREE and FAIR election will give the Democrats a landslide. But the crooked never roll over for you. You have to fight them. I do this peacefully, in the Ghandi tradition. I won't stoop to the evil of the power-mad.

Run, Al, run!

You forgot "BFF" you clown...

I invented ruling out the run.
Sincerely,
Algore

Chairie, I don't know what "BFF" means. My bad, I'm sure.

But all you lame-os can come up with is another "I invented..." remark.

And Chairie, I do recall reading your posts time and time again about "Is that all you can come up with?..."

"I invented that damn electoral college."

--Al Gore

I invented inventing.
Sincerely,
Algore

"I took the initiative in creating a bad movie."

Al Gore

Joe, leave the humor to 101. You aren't funny.

Bill, leave the posting to non-trolls. You aren't relevant.

"I invented Al Gore."

--Al Gore, Sr.

I invented inventing.
Sincerely,
Algore

Funny flag for the man who invented Al Gore inventing.........

Cookfish,
I'm not sure I was even close to being the one to do that around here.
I may have been one of the first to have "shot people in the back" signed John Kerry, but even that may be a stretch.

For some odd reason the "Sincerely, insert name here" posts seem to really piss off that latch key libs.

Angry Joe, leave the posting to non-ignoramouses. You're a waste of bandwith.

Dear Al Gore,

I will vote for you if you run again.

Sincerely,
Jimi_left

Now THERE'S something that is bound to piss off the latchkey neocons. And for nothing more true-blue American and apple-pie as expressing my preference for a possible candidate, which is framed in my right to vote. Sincerely.

Chairie, why do you want to piss people off with such contemptuous, aggressive drivel? What's the objective? Really? It's just provocation, but provocation always has a reason. You just hate us? Then just say so.

"us" would be incorrect. There are plenty of liberals that I like and agree with here.
It's the wingnuts from both sides of the aisle that I swipe at. There just happens to be a multitude of leftwing whackos to choose from, so I focus more so on them.

It is embarrassing to see what flows from the keyboards of the leftwing and goes unchallenged from so called moderate libs though.

Hey snatchboooger. I've seen nearly every lefty on the board give JSG the finger when he's gotten out of hand. Billy has been taken to the woodshed, Truth, Danni and several others. But, I've NEVER seen you tell Box or Nice or any of the Con douchebags to put a sock in it when they go off the reservation.

In your defense, most of the really aggregious right wing loonies got themselves banned in the great summer purges. But when they were here, you were a complete non-factor pussyfart when it came to policing your own house.

He's already won the popular vote once. Now that Gore has developed a personality the antiquated, cute electoral college is a sure thing!

Priceless rips.
You disappoint me though...How can you not hang on my every post? I can assure you that I have on multiple occasions called the Nicevilles, Bushlovers, and Derfla's out on some of their craziness.
Hell, Corky even has some saved and pastes them when the time is right.

You sir are mistaken, of that I am sure.

Al Gore should run more often, you see how fat he is?

And Chair, I think Nice has got to be in the top 3 for crazy + stupid posters here.

101-
I could be completely wrong. I miss alot since I'm rarely here at night or on weekends. I really just wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to call you a snatchbooger.

I hear the greatest putdowns coching kids.

"I really just wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to call you a snatchbooger."

snatchbooger?

Spud likee!

Sums up 101s personality quite pithily sez Spud!

So it's true wot Art Linkletter used to say...

Kids really do say the darndest things!

Spud heard a kid call another kid a "spaz-bot" the other day and thought it had traction.

Spud likes new words.

Be Well.

PS: Yes, Spud is really gone now!
