We already threw out the trash. Voting for Topinka is voting to bring the trash back in the house.

I'm a small businessman and he's been the unfriendliest govenor to small business since I began living in this state 15 years ago. I don't know one other small businessman that will be voting for him but, then again I don't live in Chicago.

I really do believe that there is a media bias. I don't document it but there are websites that do. There are websites from both perspectives so doing a tit-for tat isn't worth it.

A couple of things that I noticed/notice:
Kitty Kelly had every news program under the sun at her beck and call to promote a book about Laura the pot seller and George the cokehead, all of it through anonymous sources, and unsubstantiated, and all in the run-up to 2004.
The SwiftBoater's couldn't even catch a sniff of the big 3.

How many major news stories have ever come from Dean's "hotle staff" comment? How about Hillary's "Ghandi owned a gas station" or the other Senator (name escapes me) that said all of the deli's were owned by Indians?...Why no big blow-up over those comments, but when a Republican says something just as benign (I don't believe any of those instances should have been blown out of proportion) it's front page news for a month?

No, I don't believe misteps are front page news...ever. I do know that Fox and Rush and Beck and Hannity are never fair. Yes, they're not necessarily news but there are alotta folks on the right who view them as gospel. There are no far left icons on disinformation.
