I actually understand GZ. I am a fairly die hard supporter of Israel. Clearly on occasion Israel makes both military and political mistakes. Israelis and Jews throughout the world never hesitate to denounce those mistakes. Unfortunately, hordes of Israel-haters jump on every action Israel takes and denounce them pro forma, regardless of whether the vast majority of those actions are justifiable on closer analysis. After a while it becomes unclear whether the vast majority of denunciations against Israel are based on the actual action taken by Israel or based on just a vehement knee-jerk hatred of Israel and Jews.
After a while, any supporter of Israel becomes suspicious of either the motives or naivete of most the critics. The unfortunate side effect of this is that sometimes some of us tend to overlook legitimate criticisms of Israel out of a deep distrust of the critic.
