What in world are they to find? The girl's poor body was burned.

Can anyone who watches CSI shed some light on what forensic evidence is available after a body is burned. The bullets are obvious but proof of a rape seems covered up.

No matter what they find this is another great blackeye for our soldiers. 99.9% of whom are doing a good job under the worst circumstances imaginable. And of course our beloved left wing media will have continuous coverage of the live exhumation.

Controlled-
What would you prefer happen at this point?

I am not privy to the facts of the case. I always vote for due process when dealing with our soldiers.Scumbags in Miami go to club gitmo, for a couple years of smartening up.

"I am not privy to the facts of the case."

I didn't intend to ask your opinion on the guilt or innocence of those accused. You seemed to suggest that the investigation shouldn't be conducted. My apologies. As far as your am radio-esque penchant for determining that people who don't look right (you don't have the facts of that case either) be sent to "club Gitmo" without trial, charges, or even a release date after their "smartening up", well I find that trend of gas disturbing.

cpairs sez,

"No matter what they find this is another great blackeye for our soldiers."

This is unfortunately true. It is also agreed that the majority of our soldiers are honerable.

However, the fact that we procecute the accussed guys involved in this hideous event says something positive about our country. Sometimes the folks on the right tend to say things like, "well the terrorists rape and murder and the left doesn't say anything about that."

What is puzzling about this argument is America should be held to a higher standard. The fact that the courts are conducting an investigation is a good thing. Burying it under some propaganda in the press does us no good in the end.

Looking no longer like a bad apple starting to look like bad orchard. Shades of Vietnam.

the military is like a big city in any city of a million plus how many crimes happen a day

Yup. The whole country is gone bad. Everyone in the US was a criminal during the Vietnam war too.

Don't you think you are over stating the problem just a little?

How many patrols take place in Iraq every day? How many checkpoints are manned every day? The truth is hundreds and thousands of them without incident, but lets focus on the smallest percentage of the horrible.

Controlled pairs, using your logic. U S is 230 years old, each year has 365 days. Why focus on one simple day 9/11? you go figure it out, if you are able

9/11 has been forgotten, by most . Do you see American flags everywhere still? Most people are in denial.

Using your logic it was never important

9/11 has been forgotten, by most . Do you see American flags everywhere still? Most people are in denial.

The last I heard, the perpetrators are dead. The denial comes in when Americans continue to believe anything Bush has to say for justifying his actions as a response to 9/11. Could that be you CP?

Ray and George- It has far more to do with what I have seen than what Bush says. Maybe you guys should get out in the real world some more.

My gut reaction is to say, let those people rest in peace. However, if there is evidence which can be recovered, either favorable or unfavorable to the accused soldiers, then the exhumations probably should proceed in the name of due process and fundamental fairness to all. It just seems like another stab in the heart for the surviving family members to have their loved one dug up once again from Mother Earth's embrace.
