News flash, the Palestininan government has ALWAYS been run by terrorists. But people were always able to be Pal appologists and say that those policies were only fringe fanatic groups, fringe terror groups, corrupt dictators, NOT the will of the people.

Well now we know the truth, we know the will of the people. The Palestinian people have voted, and voted for Hamas. The burka has been pulled from our eyes, the Palestinian people are now known to officially support terrorism.

The result of all this? The next attack from Hamas against Israel is no longer an act of terrorism, but an act of war between the Palestinian State and Israel.

Israel is now fully justified in going to war if attacked and siezing as much land as needed to guarantee it's safety. They can evict all Palestinians back to Jordan, Syria and Egypt if attacked.

The fate of the Palestinians, War or Peace, is in their own hands now.

To play devil's advocate, I'm pretty sure when congress voted to declare war against Japan in 1941 they weren't envisioning nuking two cities 4 years later.

I don't think Truman asked for permission before dropping the bombs, because it was out of line with what Congress expected. Was that acting like a dictator?

Congress authorized Bush to act. He's not acting like many of us would have prefered, or Congress expected, but he's NOT a dictator. He'll peacefully leave office in '09 like every other President. It's simply our job to choose better next time.
