A Georgia state legislator is going to introduce a bill that would prevent men from getting vasectomies unless needed to prevent serious injury or death. "If we legislate women's bodies, it's only fair that we legislate men's," said state Rep. Yasmin Neal (D-Jonesboro). "There are too many problems in the state. Why are you under the skirts of women? I'm sure there are other places to be."

"I'm just disappointed in my colleague, that they would take this opportunity to make light of a very important topic, McKillip said. I believe this is a serious topic deserving of serious debate. It feels like a poor attempt at humor."

Translation: She's making me look like the phony-small-government- Republican-hypocrite I am.

"i used to live in j'boro."

My condolences.

.

My condolences.

it is a shithole these days.

Not sure why this idiot would compare vasectomies to abortions. Apples and oranges. Vasectomies are birth control. Abortions, according to law after a certain point are murder. Now if she wants to compare vasectomies to contraception like birth control pills or condoms, or even Nulli's personality, then she has a point to argue, but not when compared to abortion.

Funny how some Democrats will behave just because of the way Republicans do. Most 10 year olds do better than the grown men and women of Congress and the White House. Send her a years supply of dry vag shit and tell her to get over herself.

Just ban viagra for unmarried men's health insurance and watch em dance.

"Why are you under the skirts of women? I'm sure there are other places to be."

'Cause mama, that's where the fun is!

Apparently Republicans think that Women's bodies are just resources that belong to Men so they have the right to make decisions about Women's bodies for them. Hell, they are lucky to even be invited to the discussion.

I just heard her interviewed on the radio, smart as a pile of rocks, talked about men conceiving.

"Not sure why this idiot would compare vasectomies to abortions."

That's because you're dumb. What's good for the goose...

It's a false comparison. Nobody is saying that abortifacients and contraceptives should or shouldn't be covered, only that you can't require that they must be.

Typical woman, typical Democrat, typical stupid.

Ah. Just googled "Yasmin Neal". All makes sense now.

"It's a false comparison. "

Bullshit. It's an exposure of hypocrisy. You should love of it, Tu Quack.

love it

You say so.

The only way this comparison would be accurate if is some conservative retard proposed a law that would ban women from getting their tubes tied unless needed to prevent serious injury or death. To my knowledge, that hasn't happened, so the fake bill is a strawman. No surprise that it resonates with Null so much.

Very poor comparison.

Pretty sure insurance covers tubal ligation, there are no laws preventing a woman getting sterilized.

It must be Bush's fault.

This - the legislator's proposal and the pompous ire of riighties it was clearly designed to provoke (because it makes them look ridiculous) - is, truly, hilarious.

Yahzuh! Senator Yasmin! We unahstand! Now git you boney ass on down the road boy! Don't you be messin wid my boys!

"so the fake bill is a strawman. No surprise that it resonates with Null so much."

Joe's another idiot that doesn't get the basic point: one gender regulating the sexual reproduction of the other gender. I bet he thinks that all-male contraceptive panel was a great idea.

Ho, boy, PhesterinBoil's kicked into his Butterfly McQueen impersonation (although he sounds more like a cross between Joan Rivers and RuPaul).

I'm against government regulation of contraception and abortion, aside from requiring compliance with basic medical standards. I'm also against stupidity, which you happened to vomit all over this thread. Doesn't make me a social conservative, as much as you wish it did. Just another faulty connection made by your addled brain.

It was enough to pull you off the pisspot and make you stop tugging that little nubin you call mamma.

This along with the drug-testing of politicians proposals is exactly what's needed to expose the hypocrisy of politicians who exempt themselves from laws they pass.

I was trying to figure out what got PhesteringBoil's racialist ass burning so, and, of course, it's the fact that the person who's proposed the law is black. Seriously, Phester, you need professional psychological therapeutic assistance.

Look, dumpling, Joe's a recovering DR penile obsessor and he doesn't need you trying to pass your problems onto him at this stage in his recovery process.

LOL the word "serious" and dung scarfuce together is a joke boy.

I'm also against stupidity...

Well then you shouldn't be posting it. If you don't get the obvious point, it's really no big deal to me. Go ahead and be stupid.

Pretty sure insurance covers tubal ligation, there are no laws preventing a woman getting sterilized.

You meant NOT YET. right?

This thread is going to rock with parsing and sophistry as dummies debate the technicalities of whether it was a precise analogy, and if not, exactly to what degree, and, bla bla bla.

It's a false comparison. Nobody is saying that abortifacients and contraceptives should or shouldn't be covered, only that you can't require that they must be.

fucking typical rethug LIAR.

You know good and well the ultimate aim of these personhood bills being proposed by Republicans is to ban ALL contraception and abortions altogether.

One bill, Republican Del. Bob Marshall's House bill 1, would define personhood at conception and "provides that unborn children at every stage of development enjoy all the rights, privileges, and immunities available to other persons, citizens, and residents of the Commonwealth." The second bill requires that women be required to undergo an ultrasound procedure prior to having an abortion.

The personhood bill, which passed by 66-32 in the Virginia state House, does not ban abortions, the legality of which are protected under the Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade. It would, however, make illegal certain types of contraceptive measures, including emergency contraception. Women's health advocates say it could also open the door to banning birth control pills and intrauterine devices (IUD).

Fucking lies and the lying liars who tell them.

That would be you, Donner. Why are all you liberals such hysterical pussies?

Correction for the posters above, she's a democrat not a republican.

Second, I think Doc nailed it:

This - the legislator's proposal and the pompous ire of riighties it was clearly designed to provoke (because it makes them look ridiculous) - is, truly, hilarious.

Also, the direct analogy would be comparing it to women getting their tubes tied.

As far as it being akin to women getting abortions? Probably not since it functions more as a contraceptive.

Fact is, men aren't going to get vasectomies, if we have to we'll use condoms.

Why are all you liberals such hysterical pussies?

because you are such a fucking liar it sometimes makes me fucking Celary all over the place.

Ok, men cannot have vasectomies and women cannot have their tubes tied..

EVEN

Move on dorks

What did I lie about?

The uproar on the right if someone suggested insurance companies not pay for Viagra would be deafening.

Republican politicos are very two faced.

Beautiful.

29--And they're probably the same people who call others "spelling Nazis." Of course, it's not a true analogy, folks: Men can't conceive. (Insert old comment: If they could, abortion on demand would be legal.) Nonetheless, the point (well, a point) seems clearly made.

And btw, "Fact is, men aren't going to get vasectomies, if we have to we'll use condoms."

Really, I was very happy to get my vasectomy. Everything still works, and condoms are unnecessary. I'd rather have a brief office procedure and be free of wrappings, thank you very much. Besides, the "margin of error" is greater with condoms. Two kids was enough for me!

Oh God.......... The dems want to be the pecker police.
