Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs
Tuesday, February 21, 2012

A 22-year-old Florida man's plan to hold up a convenience store with a knife was foiled when his wheelchair got stuck in the sand behind the store during his getaway. When officers arrived, they found John Christopher Champion of Chiefland stuck in the sand drinking a Bud Light Lime. "He also told police that he urged the clerk to hit the alarm button because they would never arrest a handicapped person. He got that wrong," reports CBS Miami.

Ha ha

The guy looks Chairborne, legs notwithstanding

101Wheelchairborne in action.

The 54-year old clerk stabbed him three times in the leg before he overpowered her.

LOOSER AWARD,,,

Man, if you're going to steal beer, why Bud Light Lime?

Looks like somebody has the Chairborne flu. I can understand why.

He's in a wheel chair and you stab him in the legs? There ought to be a law for thought process stupid.

I keep thinking of the wheelchair guy in the final Aliens movie when the aliens' blood drips onto his paralized legs and he didnt feel it..

Ha, what a crazy-ass story. And thanks, Zat, for that reminder of brilliant filmmaking.

You're welcome.
Seemed appropriate.
Hope you got a chuckle.

Yes, by all means.
I'd like to be among the first to offer you my services as a bail bondsman. If stupidity becomes an arrestable offense you could set a record on recidivism.

#3-That's 101's panty inspection position. He's got a badge and everything.

Given that she was wrestling him for the kife, she would have been trying to keep it down and away from herself. Like you said, ther ought to be a law....

And besides, you've been with Bay and paltroonwoman at Walmart enough to know they ride the scooters not because their legs don't work...

"Bud Light Lime"?

Trying for the insanity defense I see.

Free shelter and food for a few dayz (yearz, whats the diff?). Too bad the store owner didn't kill him and save the rest of us the expense.

He needed medical attention and this is his idea of "free" Obungler care. Actually he will now get his free medical care - just too bad he had to go about it bungholio fashion.

The 54-year old clerk stabbed him three times in the leg before he overpowered her.

Champion after being stabbed in the legs: "Ha ha, motherfucker, I didn't feel a thing!"

Right, because medical care while incarcerated is something new under President Obama......sure.

Man, if you're going to steal beer, why Bud Light Lime? -- #5 | Posted by LIVE_OR_DIE

If, as a 4-star general and Commander of Forces in Afghanistan, you decide to get drunk with a Rolling Stone reporter and diss your civilian superiors, why Bud Light Lime?

The stuff must have special powers!

Putting aside the fact that this wheelchair driver is a idiot. Why would anyone feel threatened by a guy with a knife who is stuck in a wheel chair? One step sideways and you're home free.

He will now sue the store owner for not providing Handicap ramps for his getaway. The ADA attorney will make a pretty good penny for just filing the damn thing.

And then he'll sue the clerk for his injuries to his leg.

This sounds like a cry for help?

3 squares a day is what he was looking for.
