Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Though numerous irregularities have been discovered in the vote in the Maine caucuses, the state's GOP Party Chairman Charlie Webster said he will not release updated results from the additional caucuses and Mitt Romney will remain the declared winner. Romney's 194-vote margin of victory has been narrowed as misreported or erroneous vote totals from different caucuses are revealed, but Webster said it doesn't matter. "We are not going to release them [the missing votes]," he said. "People can whine and complain and plead, but I'm not going to make them public."

Why parties use caucuses is beyond me. Republican or Democrat caucuses suck.

At least with the caucuses, though, there's often the votes read aloud before they're sent in, so you can evidence fraud like in this case. With a primary, you only have exit polls to point to discrepancies.

We treat primaries like the general here so there is a paper trail and the print out for the voting machine.

Voter ID's would have prevented this!

- The DR Right.

The best was the town GOP official that called the state GOP to report the numbers from the caucus and was told "We already have them and Mitt won".

I know you bozos want to make every problem from unwed mothers to tooth decay a republican problem but some problems are bipartisan.

Texas Caucus Fraud (Updated)

My observations in Texas were that caucuses were broadly illegitimate. In a few well-run counties, Hillary's caucus vote was the same or better than the popular vote, but in chaotic counties, she fell behind by double digits. While Texas is the only state to have both a binding popular vote and a caucus vote, we saw similar results in Washington State, where Obama's numbers plunged in the unofficial primary compared to the caucuses .

I'm not going to make them public.

It's just your votes we are talking about.

Both parties suck. This R just wants to reinforce it.

Ha Headline WIN. Thank you Rcade!

"People can whine and complain and plead, but I'm not going to make them public."

TRANSLATION: "I've been promised an Ambassadorship by Rmoney,so go fuck yourselves"

Thank God we have the GOP & Democrat elite to protect us from ourselves

He stole Maine from Ron Paul. This has been documented for a week or more. Voting, like most items of importance to America for the elite has become about a wish and opinion and not about real facts.

Not sure what that's about.
But its pure B.S. not to release the true numbers what ever they are.

Not that it would apply in the caucuses voting.
But strict accountability in the voting process is a must as I have advocated many times before.
PHOTO VOTER I.D. is one real step in that direction that can most easily be implemented.

Yea, yea I know some people will be disenfranchised if we make them get voter I.D. which is B.S. but the Lib/left love saying it.

If tomorrow morning the Govt. said on Friday of next week the U.S. Govt will be handing out gold bars on every other corner through out America, there would still be people who didn't get their gold bar.

The main questions are WHO'S VOTING and ARE THEY ALLOWED TO VOTE.
That is the job of the Govt. to make sure those two things are answered.

That YOU have the things the Govt. says you need to vote, that's on you as a Citizen.

As long as the same demand is put on everybody.
Because the demand on you is harder for you to meet than it is for everybody else is not a reason to have a lesser demand on you than everybody else in so much as to WHO YOU ARE and ARE YOU ALLOWED TO VOTE.

The Govt. can wave fee's for people that can't pay, that's fine this is America we help our poor as long as they help themselves and not just stand there like helpless sheep.

Does anyone think the accountability of the voting system is not broke ?

......NOPE IN NOVEMBER......

What a jerk!

They will have to publish all of the votes on March 10th. This guy is being an idiot talking that way.

Caucuses are paid for by the RNC or DNC--not the state. Primaries are paid for the state having the primary.

They should have 4-5 regional primaries and be done in 5 months. Have 10 states in each regional primary and whatever number of debates.

No more caucuses--no more Iowa (sorry).

Ron Paul won, no doubt about it.

Ron Paul won, no doubt about it.

THIS.

Fix is in.

Be Well.

/Rodney Dangerfield got more respect than the GOP are showing Dr. Paul.

somebody needs to sue this jackass!!

Say whatever you want coward but more people will be saying yes than no. I hope at that point you leave the retort for good. You don't belong here!

I think this is a far bigger problem then voter ID fraud. I hope some sort of laws are put into place to make this kind of real voter fraud a crime.

I know some people will be disenfranchised if we make them get voter I.D. which is B.S.

So how many people disenfranchised is an acceptable number?

10?

1000?

1000000?

It is not who votes that matters so much as who counts the votes. Electronic systems controlled centrally by secret proprietary software are so easily manipulated even while giing a false sense of security with paper "receipts". Perhaps if some districts in Maine are using locally hand counted paper ballots it will be more obvious to people that there is a problem.

Both the Iowa and Nevada GOP heads have resigned- I can't believe the Maine guy not only holding out still, but actually bitching about people "whining and complaining and pleading." Guy should be tarred and feathered.

Mitt Romney will make just as good of an international banking cartel puppet as Obama! Someone has to keep their military industrial complex running.

Who gives a shit about the caucuses in any state? We all know that it is Romney's turn and he will be on top of the republican wing of the big government ticket. He will run against little o who will represent the other wing of the big government party.

It is not who votes that matters so much as who counts the votes.

That is why voter ID is such a red herring.

Lol....we all know the G.O.P. cheats in elections...

we didn't know that things were so bad they had to
cheat on themselves...

like a pack of ravenous wolves going at each other...

***LOVIN' IT!***

p.s. Ann Coulter is a Hag...

lol...Ann Coulter for Free,
that's like getting a load
of trash dumped on your yard...

FOR FREE!! ;-)

p.s. Ann Coulter is a Hag.

Yep, online banking is so untrustworthy. We need to go back to paper checks.

The "Party for Election Integrity which can only be done by onerous Photo Voter ID" has been busy across the United States rigging their own elections or flat out refusing to count their own legitimate votes.

We're supposed to trust these blatant hypocrites when they whine about nonexistent voter fraud?

Time to wake up and stop defending the "story" the GOP is trying to sell you. It's always been bullshit.
