Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been in discussions with the White House about leaving her job next year to become head of the World Bank, sources told Reuters. White House spokesman Jay Carney called the report "totally wrong." If Obama nominated her for the post, it would require approval of the bank's 187 member countries. Neither the World Bank nor the International Monetary Fund has ever been led by a woman.

I'd still rather see her switch jobs with Joe B and become the first woman VP and then the first woman President.

If only to have Karl Rove shit blue monkeys when heard about it.

But I think she's really tired of the slime pit of domestic retail politics, and why not go where the real power is anyway?

Imagine how much money the World Bank would make, when she starts making hundred-times returns managing cattle futures investments.

Speaking of which--I wonder why she doesn't do it anymore? Why be happy with sending her husband around the world to deliver speeches for a hundred thousand a pop, when she can take a few minutes to knock that out in front of her computer screen?

Old Clinton Haters never die, they just smell like it.

Her past experience in the Cattle Futures Market should serve her well.

Ris has a little echo... isn't that cute!

On the contrary. Hillary was the greatest investor who has ever lived. It's a shame she didn't write a book. It would be a better seller than those like those tedious "How to invest like Warren Buffett". I don't know anything compared to her, and I've been managing investments for years.

And as for her husband, what's not to like? He's married to a psychotic lesbian, so he gets all he can outside the house. That's just what I would do, in his position. Go Clinton! I draw the line at rape, now, but that's just one of those situational morality type things the Dems have perfected. I'll get there, eventually!

You should really stick to propositioning 50-something stewardesses (and failing) and leave lame attempts at sarcastic humor to professionals.

It would be safer for all concerned.

You've got me confused with someone else. Hillary maybe?

LOL! They're best buddies. What Obama did for Scott Walker at Master Lock today deserved a kiss on the lips! You can't buy that publicity during a recall.

P.S. Obama looks confused. I'll bet he thinks the Milwaukee Brewers won the Superbowl.

You spin like a..... 300 lb ballerina, actually.

Whatever. It sure looks like Obama doesn't know whether to shit or wind his watch. I've got great ideas for this....

He been smiling at all the new poll numbers.

His and theirs.

One looks like a leader and one looks like the current President.

But Walker had just handed him a letter ala the Queen of AZ.

It was his resume and a job application. That's what made Obama grimace.

Maaaaaaaaaaa. He thinks that's where his beer comes from for his big beer sumits.

Move hillary to world bank and there will be bigger financial scandles that involve so many other countries.

I hope Walker told him Colt 45 isn't brewed in Wisconsin.

Based on what banking experience? She was James McDougals council for Madison guarentee save and loan......-but she claimed she wasn't when whitewater blew up. Does any of the usual suspects claim she has any qualifications whatsoever on finance?????

Why would such a "women of the people" even think that she could land a "fat cat" international banking cartel job unless she was already one of them?

I have to say it is quaint how Corky imagines that Hillary Clinton actually ever gave two shits and a damn about him. Reminds me of when I believed in Santa Claus as a child!

WHO would even think of putting a non banker in charge of such an important bank? It makes ZERO sense.....

Oh that's right demoRats. Kind of like having maxine w. in charge of finances

You mean like Paul Wolfowitz, who never worked a day doing anything having to do with finance?

The first qualification to running any bank is an obsession to screw the masses for the sake of usury and profits for the tiny few.

Z first is a leg up on the rest because it means a genetic propensity to support greed and the nation of I first. Sadly very few Zs have ever had a propensity to work first for the greater good of world humanity.

Odd discussion. The World Bank isn't a "bank" in the traditional sense -- it doesn't have depositors, doesn't try to earn profits through its investments, etc. etc.

It's much closer to a philanthropic organization dedicated to facilitating development and reconstruction projects. There's no reason its head should have any banking experience.

Raise your hand if you remember the Whitewater billing records mystery? Also who remembers the Clinton duo and the Caaa Grande real estate scandal in Arkansas? I would not trust Hillary with anything dealing with anything. She is not trustworthy.

No doubt cheered Bush's appointment of Paul Wolfowitz, who told more whoppers to Congress in the lead up to the Iraq War than can be counted.

His most famous: the war would cost $50 Billion and be repaid with Iraq oil revenues. Um, gee, only off by a couple trillion.

Ya, we'll take your opinion any day of the week, NAN (snark)
