Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

For someone who doesn't want to weigh in on the Republican nomination, Jeb Bush has a lot to say about the Republican nomination.

As the high-stakes Republican primary approaches in Florida, the former governor has been under pressure to endorse a candidate. Though he has refrained from doing so, it is clear that he has opinions about the race.

Yesterday Bush wrote an op-ed in The Washington Post that gives several recommendations for how Republican candidates can win Hispanic voters.

Nothing Earth shattering there but I'm still thinking that the Republican hierarchy is not so stupid that they would actually allow any of the current candidates to have the nomination. I still think they are going to bring Jeb in at the convention and my guess is that the band of losers running now are actually competing to become Jeb's VP.
It is diabolical in that Democrats are lulled into a feeling of over-confidence due to the clowns running so they don't do the work and give the money necessary to win when, at the convention, a new candidate who might actually be able to win is introduced. The Democrats would suddenly find ourselves with small war chests and little organisation. More than one war has been lost because the generals didn't see what was obvious to some of the privates.

Errr...old fucking news.

I'm in your camp Danni. It has been quite apparent to me that none of these pretenders will emerge from the convention with the nomination.

The GOP understands the value of throwing the base a little red meat once in a while.
