Fox News Poll: Santorum surges nationally after three-state sweep

Surging Santorum?

www.foxnews.com

In interviews conducted on Wednesday and Thursday nights -- after his wins -- Santorum’s support nearly doubled, which put him tied at the top with Romney for those two days at 30 percent. That’s an increase of 13 percentage points. Over the last two nights, Romney also received 30 percent, a drop of 5 points. Gingrich came in at 16 percent, down 10 points. Paul’s support held steady at 15 percent.

For the four nights of polling, voters who are part of the Tea Party movement back Gingrich (34 percent) over Santorum (28 percent) and Romney (25 percent). Paul receives the support of 9 percent of Tea Partiers. White evangelical Christians break for Santorum (31 percent) over Romney (24 percent) and Gingrich (23 percent).

The poll asked GOP primary voters about their conversations with friends and neighbors and the “first thing” that comes up about the candidates. For Romney, it’s that “he’s extremely wealthy” (21 percent), followed by his business background (14 percent), and that he’s a “flip-flopper” (13 percent). Fewer say it’s that he’s Mormon (11 percent) or that he’s the most electable (11 percent).

When talking about Gingrich, the first thing that comes up in conversation is that he’s been married multiple times (17 percent), that “he has big, sometimes unrealistic ideas” (14 percent), and he was speaker of the House (14 percent). Smaller percentages say the first thing is Gingrich’s consulting work for Fannie & Freddie (9 percent) or his debate skills (9 percent).

I'm voting for ABO.

I'm glad you've switched gears to a Republican Candidate, Cork.
You really needed a breather from defending The One this morning. You looked like Tony Mandrich near the end of his career.

I refuse to vote against anyone. I honestly won't know for certain who I am voting for until I walk out of the booth in November.

-You looked like Tony Mandrich near the end of his career.

Thinks he's Ed Hochuli.

So, in November you can vote for a pro-TARP, pro-big three bail-out, pro-choice, pro-mandated conception and pro-gay rights/marriage elitist moderate with a questionable religious background for President.

Or you can vote for Obama.

Mandrich!????? Let me get something to wash it down with and a napkin!!!! -Gracie

Vote for me. I can lie as good as any of these guys.

Come on Wis you are confusing me with Patriotwoman again. And Bay thank you for the card, very nice!!

#2-The GOppers also believe Senator Santorium is a Washington outsider, but not as big a Washington outsider as ronpaul1776. How do these people remember to breath?

Come on Wis you are confusing me with Patriotwoman again. And Bay thank you for the card, very nice!!

I know you couldn't, you fucking Unich.

Just finished watching the POTUS speak about the compromise that would allow women working for religious organizations to have birth control yet not require the church to pay for it. The compromise is to require the insurance company to include birth control as part of its preventive services; services that must be offered as per the Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare).

The problem with the president's approach is that it is to narrowly cast. What happens when a religious organization decides to get into the medical insurance business? What happens if a religious organization decides to self insure?

The principal that no one seems to want to address is that churches are seeking exceptions for the businesses that they start. Exceptions that should be denied to them because of the first amendment i.e. congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religon....

I know Wis. All is good. Trying to decide to ditch work for the rest of the day. A real honest to goodness cold front to moves in tonight, lows in the 20's. Thinking of making a Dutch Oven Venison stew. Seems like as good of an excuse an any to leave work.

If women are going to be able to get the pill for free, are men going to be able to get free condoms?

are men going to be able to get free condoms?

Would you really trust a free condom? I wouldn't.

If women are going to be able to get the pill for free, are men going to be able to get free condoms?

#17 | Posted by boaz

At a minimum, the men should get some free aspirin.

Rick Sanitarium has declared American women inferior to those in the rest of the world. Too emotional and stuff to be of any real use.

He thinks all they can do is make babies.

#7 Everyone has already seen what a disaster Obama has been Northgay except numbnuts like you of course.

Pretty soon you will be able to get a government care package with cell phone, birth control and a pack of smokes. We are 2/3 of the way there.

This may be the first dose of reality that this moron has ever been given since he took office. The reality is that not all Americans think like him, Bill Ayers and Saul Alinski. And not all Americans of color think like Jeremiah Wright, Jr. Finally, Americans of different backgrounds were willing to put their differences aside, defend the freedoms which have made this nation great, and take a stand against the Anti-American-In-Chief.
You see America, it's very possible to disagree with Obama and NOT be called a racist!

Brutal, Jak. True, but brutal.

"it's very possible to disagree with Obama and NOT be called a racist!"

What planet have you been living on?

-Hebe wallet

Never heard that one before.

Sheltered life, I guess.

Another day, another Obama compromise. What a fucking joke.

Though I wouldn't argue with the overall supposition, lol.

Under Obama's foreign policy [sic] our allies had to beg Obama to support stronger sanctions against Iran. While Syria's death toll nears 8,000 it is ignored by Obama. Libya was more Obama's style because Libya was easy and wouldn't fight back. Syria has Iran as an ally and Obama doesn't want to though it with a ten foot pole. WTF!

The reality is that not all Americans think like him, Bill Ayers and Saul Alinski. And not all Americans of color think like Jeremiah Wright, Jr.

Gracie, however still repeats everything the rightwing propaganda factories pour into her head.

Obama got what he and a vast majority or women, including the Catholic women the Pedo-Bishops claimed they were protecting from the evils of not being a baby factory and neutered another GOP wedge issue. Given that Rmoney was further left on this than Obama, it would have been a dumb issue, but then again, with all the Wissies and Gracies out there,it doesn't take much to get their panties wadded up.

And yeah Wissy, compromise is such a terrible thing in politics.

Gee...Jak posts something anti-Semitic and along comes Monte and Corky to agree.

I guess saying "Nigger wallet" or "Spic wallet" would be just peachy. Amazing how the posters who pretend to be the most liberal, anti-bigotry people here remain silent or agree with a bigot posting.

LOL. Like I said, I guess saying "Nigger wallet" or "Spic wallet" would be just peachy. Amazing how the posters who pretend to be the most liberal, anti-bigotry people here remain silent or agree with a bigot posting.

This week from the NRA's "best of the well regulated Militias":

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. - Authorities say two men and one child are dead and a woman and another child are critically injured after a hostage standoff at a Deerfield Beach recreational vehicle park.
###

Potter's father and another man are accused of murdering the two in their own home. Marvin Enoch "Buddy" Potter Jr., 60, and Jamie Lynn Curd, 38, were arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder in Mountain City, Tenn.

"It's the worst thing I've ever seen," Johnson County Sheriff Mike Reece told Reuters, noting that in 27 years of law enforcement, he's never seen anything that resembles this case. "We've had murders, but nothing like this. This is just senseless."

Both victims were shot in the head and the man's throat was slit. Reuters said their eight-month-old child was unharmed and found in the mother's arms.

See Corky, the your hermetically-sealed, wallet was part of the Jew-crack.

Main Entry: hermetically sealed
Part of Speech: adj
Definition: with an airtight seal;

He is calling my wallet sealed airtight as part of the Heb comment.

1488, right?

Fun little video on the Volt: www.redstate.com

#36 | Posted by northguy3

The man's throat was also slit. Are you going to ban knives too?

From a standpoint of what you were inferring, what a stupid post..

Kan-can you get me one of those hebe wallets wholesale? I've forgotten one of the combinations to my Scots wallet and it's also getting pretty rusty.

So you are illiterate. You didn't see "undisturbed in your hermetically-sealed, Hebe wallet." Amazing.

#7 Everyone has already seen what a disaster Obama has been Northgay except numbnuts like you of course.

Without getting into specifics, we can all agree that compared to his predecessor, Obama is an Abe Lincoln and compared to the GOP Klownparade going on, he's a George Washington.
And compared to Boner/Cantor, he's the Founding Fathers.

I still don't get the anti-Semitic part. Hebe: en.wikipedia.org

"So you are illiterate.
#43 | Posted by kanrei"

If it makes you feel better, I guess so champ. Or, it could be that someone used a word I've never seen before. Even after I googled it I don't see the anti-Jew slant.

Has anyone seen Kanrei's skin? He appears to be missing most of his layers.

I still don't get the anti-Semitic part.

Then you are also an idiot. "hermetically-sealed, Hebe wallet" is saying my wallet is air tight, sealed. Heb wallet goes further to say I am cheap, stingy.

You can say I have a unused condom in my wallet without the "hermetically-sealed, Hebe wallet" part. You and Corky, supposed liberals who get so upset at bigot-based posts, both agreed with it.

Nuff said.

From a standpoint of what you were inferring, what a stupid post..

#39 | Posted by boaz

Let's see, 5 people shot to death, two more critical and one MAY have been killed with a knife, so the knife is the issue.

How many latrines do you have to clean each day, Boaz?

OK.
Just so there are no more
Manwich issues on the Nooner
here is a list of the ingredients
from the label:

Tomato Puree (Water, Tomato Paste), High Fructose Corn Syrup, Distilled Vinegar, Corn Syrup, Less than 2% of: Salt, Sugar, Dehydrated Onions, Dehydrated Red and Green Bell Peppers, Chile Pepper, Tomato Fiber, Spices, Guar Gum, Xanthan Gum, Dehydrated Garlic, Carob Bean Gum, Natural Flavors.

There isn't anything bad in them.

Yes. I've made them and my family loves them.
So there.
:)

It's the Guar Gum that pushes it over the goodness edge.

This one. Nobody calls me a racist for disagreeing with the President and it happens nearly daily. Maybe it's all in how you express your disagreement? I mean, I don't know for sure, I don't go out of my way to read your posts or anything.

I googled it I don't see the anti-Jew slant.

#46 | Posted by mOntecOre at 2012-02-10 01:47 PM

Yup...totally illiterate..and can't use Google.

Hebe (also spelled Heb or Heeb), short for "Hebrew", an ethnic slur directed at Jewish people; see Anti-Semitism

www.websters-online-

Heeb, Hebe
(U.S.) an offensive term for a Jewish person, derived from the word "Hebrew".[98][99]

Yeah, maybe it does.
Guar gum is the, get this,
"ground endo-sperm of the guar bean".

Don't worry though as this place has shown bashing Jews is perfectly OK. See any Israel thread for a prime example. Monte and Corky jumped right on the Jak insult and now claim to have "never heard the word "Heb" before, yet did not hesitate to agree with it. When I encounter a word I don't know, I look it up.

I don't follow you around Monte, you follow me. Then you cry when I finally respond to one of your numerous comments about me. Sad, really sad.

Here are the results of a Google search on "Hebe": www.google.com

Jak was just calling you a Greek Goddess. Maybe that's because you are delicate.

By thye way, Hebe Tien is kind of hot.

Hermetically sealed Hebe wallet, but nice try.

You have shown yourself to be a selective reader who skips words he doesn't understand which means you average about 5 words per page.

The big money man who introduced Rick Santorum at CPAC began with a joke:

www.mofopolitics.com

"A conservative, a moderate and a liberal walk into a bar.

"The bartender says, 'Hi, Mitt!'"

By thye way, Hebe Tien is kind of hot.

I'm glad you agree you only really understand about 5 words per page. Given how many words are here, you are getting less than .01% of the total conversation.

Hey Kaneri you need to write a Paradoy to Born This Way for tose three!

Yup, that seems about right.

(Will you stop crying if I agree with you? I hate to see Greek Goddesses cry.)

Damns H key....

Dunno it. Kind of been focusing on originals now. Got 16 recorded so far =D.

Gracie wishes she had sauce. I have a six pack of Dead Guy Ale, Rogue, from Oregon on ice for later.

Dead Guy's good stuff.
If you need sauce, Justanoversight said he was getting creamy. Maybe you can make something from that.

Kanrei is giving me the Hebe Geebees today.

#73 | Posted by mOntecOre

You fucking asshole! That soda stung going through my nose.

Monte I am not sure but I think Justanoversight has his 'sights' set on Rcade as I am pretty sure his comment was directed to Rcade.

Let's see, 5 people shot to death, two more critical and one MAY have been killed with a knife, so the knife is the issue.

I dont see either the knife or the gun as the issue, I see the asshole who used them as weapons to be the issue. But you stay in that liberal fantasy of yours where guns get up on their own and kill people. BTW, when you ban guns and knives, you going to ban hands and arms when people start choking each other to kill? Just like a liberal, blaming the wrong thing...

Just like a liberal, blaming the wrong thing...

Yup, cause anybody with a fly swatter can kill three people and have a police standoff, Boaz. Guns don't kill people, it's the people who put the guns into the hands of idiots who kill people. Unless, of course, you consider multiple murders the socially acceptable way to deal with "defriending".

I'll make you my standard gun nut offer. You gather up any number of knives, hammers, hands, fists or frozen turnips you want and stand at one end of a football field. I'll take a .32 revolver, or a single barrel shot gun (having shot neither in some years) and stand at the other,. We start walking towards each other and use our "equal" weapons. You being all militaryr trained and stuff, it should be no contest, right?

Wanna bet who goes home in a body bag and who doesn't?

I bet you'd sing a different tune if I had a car antenna.

In my never-ending quest for knowledge, I found the following quoted on Wiktionary:

"The American custom of erecting a putz seems to have originated with the Moravians but the custom long ago spread to non-Moravian households"

erecting a putz? Is Wiktionary a Chinese thing?

"A conservative, a moderate and a liberal walk into a bar.

"The bartender says, 'Hi, Mitt!'"

OK now that's funny!

It's all coming together now;

Car antennaes,
Smokestacks on the Moon,
Moon Bases,

They are manufacturing car antennaes on the moon. For when the iluminatti take over the world.

no one would blame you if you went ahead and panicked now.

Guns don't kill people, it's the people who put the guns into the hands of idiots who kill people.

So that warrants you making this constitutional RIGHT harder to implement for regular citizens?

You gather up any number of knives, hammers, hands, fists or frozen turnips you want and stand at one end of a football field. You being all militaryr trained and stuff, it should be no contest, right?

Everything you named for me is better for close combat. You would enjoy a small advantage with the gun as you could shoot me before I got close. Unless I had a bow. But that's not the point. The point is, I blame the person firing the weapon, you blame the weapon or more so the document that gave us the right to have the weapon without you (govt) knowing or having a say in whether I can have the weapon.

I bet you'd sing a different tune if I had a car antenna.

#81 | Posted by wisgod

I was trying to keep his arsenal down to what's not considered a WMD. Obviously, if he had a nuke or an antenna....

Representative Holland (D-MS) is just the latest example of Braintards in the Democratic party. How hard is it to understand that being opposed to ILLEGAL immigration is not the same as being opposed to LEGAL immigration? I don't know one person who is opposed to legal immigration. It would be so easy to set up a guest worker program for unskilled labor to enter the U.S. and that would significantly improve the situation but instead, all we hear from Washington is...........the sound of crickets...and name calling of anyone who isn't in favor of another round of amnesty. You don't solve a problem by overlooking it or demeaning those who demand that our laws be upheld.

Unskilled workers? We have a shortage of skilled workers as it is. As for the guestworker program? How many are still here pretending they are still guests?

It's that kind of logic that we have come to expect from CoCo.

#89 We have heards of unskilled labor sitting in public housing with Obama phones, SNAP, food stamp debit cards, daycare and free lunch programs for the kids who are part of the breeders for benefits program that REFUSE to do day labor work. "How many are still here pretending they are still guests?". As for that comment if we had a guest worker program for the jobs the Americans on Entitlements are to lazy to do I could answer that.

LOL Monte. Thank you. I thought maybe I missed something on the unskilled/skilled comment. Nice to know I did not and snap crackle pop was confused.

I posted the CNN link for the DR left.

We has heards that Saddam has WMDs, we needs us an MBA president, Missions were Accomplished and no one could have predicted that when al queda said it was going to fly highjacked airliners into the WTC in September 2001 they actually meant it. Not to mention, we have heards, with apologies to Kan, that jews drink the blood of Christian children. Not to mention that Obama was born in Kenya and is a muslim.

But only morons believe everything they hear, or in JeffJ's case, what they read in an email.

Gracie- remember to believe half of what you see and none of what you hear.

So that warrants you making this constitutional RIGHT harder to implement for regular citizens?

Boaz-regular citizens who shoot kids and people from Facebook? Read the WHOLE second amendment and you'll understand.

I think Newt would still be driving the GOP Klownkar if he had promised flying cars instead of a moon base. That's something our generation feels ripped off about. We were promised them and nuclear power electricity that would be too cheap to meter.

I blame the Unions.

#104 I sit one three non-profit boards. I know what I am talking about. There are generations of entitlements, Grandma, Mom and daughter. It's a lifestyle more then a hand up for the majority.

We should have never gotten involved in Libya in the first place. Both are civil wars being backed by outside influences which are supplying the local militias and anti-government groups with manpower and weapons. The Syrian government is trash and should all rot in hell, but I have little faith in the groups backing the current uprising there.

It's even sad that all throughout the web you'll find evidence questioning the identity of the snipers, but mainstream news seems to gloss over that and portrays it as them being with the Syrian government.

The logic being I would rather have skilled workers brought in? Had you bothered to read your new squeeze Gracie's retort, you may have noticed she was calling for some sort of easier GW program allowing more unskilled workers to come in. Somehow under this pipedream it would improve the current immigration situation.

Maybe you are dumb enough to believe that logic. Or more likely you are simply an idiot...
