Tax forms require a SS# by the filer and SS#s for the child you are claiming for a tax credit.

Does the IRS accept tax forms without a SS#?

Or are the numbers fraudulent?

This appears to be another anchor baby issue. Why are illegals rewarded?

The child is an American and the parent(s) are here illegally--right? The parent then files for the tax credit. I mean the child is at least an American--right? They are not giving a tax credit for a foreign born child are they?

So is the tax credit provided because of the child and given to the parent who is the guardian?

If it is provided because the child is an American--we would be punishing the child if not paid to the parent who happens to be an illegal.

Until and unless the illegal parent(s) self deport (what a joke) or change the anchor baby law to solidify that jurisdiction is the key and not the hospital--this will continue to come up.

....yes they do.......the first time an individual without an ss# files federal income tax, the feds assign a tax payer number that non-residents and illegals use.....

......it's not the same as a SS# and does not grant any addtional rights, its just a way of identifying illegals and legal visitors with U.S. source of income......
