Are you familiar with Milton Friedman's concepts of inventing economic and government stresses through military campaigns against the most Democratic and peaceful populations? To sum it up, that schema didn't appear to work out as well in Afghanistan because 1) they are not a Democracy, 2) they are not at peace. But in fact the Milton Friedman tactic doesn't work whatsoever. It's intent is to generate a ruling class who control militias that dictate industry. Afghani are already at that low period - what should be considered "a starting point" and not reflecting the society they actually want. So, this process has introduced an international drug-based economy that is ultimately exploited by everyone but the Afghani. Ironic.

As for the barely covered murder of civilians - that is obviously a campaign designed to maintain the inequity. It's the American way.
