Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

While discussing the controversy over the Susan G. Komen for the Cure cutting off funds to Planned Parenthood for breast exams, which it later reversed, Rick Santorum said on Fox News Sunday, "I don't believe breast cancer research is advanced by funding an organization that does abortions where you've seen ties to cancer and abortions." That widely spread claim lacks a scientific basis. A 2007 study of 105,000 women in the Archives of Internal Medicine found no link between breast cancer and abortions.

"Santorum Makes False Claims of Abortion-Cancer Link"

So do cancer groups. Of course they know very little compared to DR icepick.

That slimy Santorum gets all over his words every time he opens his mouth.

KBM has no facts. Only mindless deflections.

if he cared about breast cancer he'd make it easier for women to breast feed.

Santorum's loonybin predecessor, Ms. Bachmann, made the same preposterous claim and surely the FR's fetal rights proponents - E. P. Unum seems to be back - will quickly pick it up. Boobs and "babies." herm

It's a pretty safe bet to ignore anything involving "science" from the mouths of the right. Last scientific idea the right came up with was industrial genocide.

You know the big difference between the genocide of the right and the genocide of the left? The Left's survives to this day.

Ply-if you really believe the right is opposed to abortion as they claim, I've got some prime property in Florida I'd sell you cheap. Hell 1 in 5 abortions are for evangelical women.

Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush1 and Bush2 all claimed to be pro-life and all did nothing about it. Republicans had the WH, Senate and Congress and did nothing. Hell, the RNC even covered abortions for their staff.

It is, however, a great fund raiser-picks the pockets of the sheeple quicker than even gay rights.

You are right about one thing, it does make an excellent point for fundraising, but you can't simply overturn a Supreme Court ruling with legislation. I would like to see an example of how the RNC covered abortions for its staff.

I'm just kind of confused as to how anybody to lay industrial genocide at the feet of the "right" when the left to this very day defends and even subsidizes an industry built on terminating embryonic humans. Hitler might have held reactionary views on race, but the other half of the socialist cookie shows a movement hell-bent on changing their host society by either converting or exterminating everyone within its reach.

but the other half of the socialist cookie shows a movement hell-bent on changing their host society by either converting or exterminating everyone within its reach.

Yeah, because religious fundamentalists are just A-OK with contrary views. They don't try to convert anyone. They never kill anyone either!

My girlfriend went to Columbia's School of Physicians and Surgeons and did a survey of published peer reviewed studies years ago [almost 20 years now](prior to the escalation of political expediency over fact) she found 30% of the studies she reviewed were statistically flawed.

I have a Masters of Applied Mathematics and Statistics and as Al Gore says about the "science of global warming is complete..." laying bear his complete lack of education about the scientific method, the peer reviewing now is more about gate keeping than science in the public interest. What is not politically expedient never sees the light of day.

Verify: Breat cancer screenings have produced more cancer due to radiation exposure than they have identified at an early stage and cured. Sonograms are more effective and can find cancers far sooner than radiation based screenings.

Verify: Just because a study is done and peer review doesn't mean it's not a completely wrong and corrupt (politically propagated) study.

Look at the funding sources, look at how convient it is for those funders. If a study is done saying their cancer causing radiation screening methods are safe, stop and think...when and what dose is ever safe? Zero, it has always been zero. Does the group make tons of money selling mammograms: Yes. Nuf said.

Science and scientists are the new religion and priests, directing us as those that fund them direct. Grow up.

Verify: abortions DO increase cancers of the cervix and uterus as well as causing infertility progressively directly proportional to the number performed.

Verify: Cervical cancer rates skyrocket after the introduction of only eight different men's semen exposures. So even the promiscuity allowed by birth control and abortion causes reductions in life span in women.

I had an argument with a female epidemiologist years ago about the convergence of males' and females' life spans. She said they never would converge, I said, uh, yes they will, now they go to work, get the stress men do, and use the extra life force reserved for birth into their work. I told her eventually women will live less long.

Has anyone noticed the epidemic of breast cancers in the last decade? Horrifying. The xenoestrogens are not just in the BPA bottles, it's ubiquitious--there is no escape. It hyperfeminizes the women AND chemically castrates the men. Ladies, notice the young men's lack of desire recently. It's not JUST your hostility and misandrony!

Haha! Glad I have only the cancer vaccinations (SV 40 and all the others, with squalene, microntized aluminium and mercury for good measure) and fluoride brain and bone damage.

Ladies, notice the young men's lack of desire recently. It's not JUST your hostility and misandrony!

No, no, indeed. It's the hair on your chiny-chin-chin and the wax on my b-b-bollix.

And don't even ask what "misandrony" means.

~ JeffGloball

Verify: Margaret Sanger's eugenics statements, saying they "...we'll trim the weeds by giving minorities access to abortion."

Verify: 50% of male black babies are aborted.

Verify: The startup funding sources of Planned Parenthood. Same as for eugenics program of Hitler's Germany.

It's was hard to find the female analogue to male misogyny.

Political Correctness cannot fathom the idea that females hating men even needs a name!

Misandrony is defined as male haters.

It took me a couple weeks to find this term.

Doc, PASS IT ON!

Political correctness controls minds by controlling words. If you don't have the words, you can't have the idea, so thinks those ppl.

So as u dumb down ppl by using text, ppl start not to be able to think.

Or so they think.

"It's was hard to find the female analogue to male misogyny."

Yeah, a real ball-buster: lmgtfy.com

"Political Correctness cannot fathom the idea that females hating men even needs a name!"

It has had a name, and has had a name for a very long time.

"Misandrony is defined as male haters."

It's not even a word.

"It took me a couple weeks to find this term."

Then you wasted your time, because the word doesn't exist and you won't be starting a trend since a word describing what you're attempting to talk about is already well in place.

"It took me a couple weeks to find this term."

And it took me about four seconds to find the correct term.

What does that tell you?

Yup, the ash heap of history awaits your arrival.

He's a "FEAR MONGER" - who would enslave a women because she's got a fetus. Like "loook ooooo she might kill it - quick lock her up - oh too late. well kill her or put her in jail for murder...). "

Santorum is not just gay-slime, its an advertizement for Misandrony.

What an fear mongering satanic asshole.

Sounds like since the masters in mathematics was gotten the brain has little to no use. Atrophied.

#23 If you mean me Kliffrd it was AFTER the MSEE when I read OVER 500 books on the "religions" of the world while also starting guitar in college. The music and the reading developed the right-brain side - and I've been blessed with a gr8 brain. So gr8 that its taken most of my life to figure out how to put it to effective use. So that's not it. Rather it seems you just like this smelly slimy and disgusting Santorum and want to dismiss the truth about him.

This Slimy POTUS wanna-be would advocate jail for women over their health abilities to carry a fetus while piling on with any rapist or bad situation. To me that's pretty slimy - like that stuff on a turd.

Vote or die right? Well then pick the douche because the turd sandwich really stinks. IDK about a douche though cause I've never used one nor have I ever had a used one thrown at me like this slimy-fuck flining fetuses and fears - but then again if the douche is the obamanation then well writing in a fuck-head (RP/GJ?) would still be better.

the ash heap of history awaits your arrival

JeffGlobal, a.k.a. JeffNDenmark, was born there. The moron asks you to "verify" a litany of blatant falsehoods parroted by a lunatic fringe.

Seriously, do those shitheads have anything but lies and misinformation to fall back on?

What's worse are the people that blindly accept what they've been told. I bet most (if not all) Santorum/Bachmann supporters believe that abortion equals cancer. And they will take it to the grave with them.

Dick Santorum is by far a worse candidate for president than Newt or Mitt.

Why hasn't anyone brought up his rape babies are a gift from god yet? IMO that statement alone should of gotten him thrown into a mental institute.

There's no amount of scientific evidence that you can produce that they can't simply deny. It should come as no surprise that the "abortion causes cancer" crowd overlaps significantly with the "Earth is 6000 years old" crowd.

We're not just talking garden-variety idiots here. These people have taken willful stupidity and refined it into an art form.

Doc, you're a dick, and not a non-traumatic priaprism either, a limp one.

The only thing wrong with this reference if that the antonym is incorrect, the antonym for male hater, is a lover of men. That word, probably will take me another two weeks to find. To love men, is no longer Politocally Correct.

Corollary: Just cause you were taught wrong and swallowed the cool aid, Doc, doesn't mean it doesn't exist in real life.

Grow up.

The map is not the territory.

To love men, is no longer Politocally Correct.

If you would like to go about loving men, no one is going to stop you. Well, Rick Santorum might try...

If you look at the methodology of the 2007 study cited it doesn't actually say that there is no link btwn abortion and breast cancer. Only that women who get abortions are also more likely smoke, take birth control pills, drink and be overweight.

If you look at the methodology of the 2007 study cited

If you look at the conclusions that Hugenot drew from it, you'll find his reading comprehension skills to be lacking.

= you'll find his reading comprehension skills to be lacking.

More in the area of non-existent, really.

@33
It isn't that, it's just that I don't volunteer to be spoon fed like libtards.

The study controlled for other cancer causing behavior but didn't say whether or not they took into account that women who have abortions are also more likely to engage in other destructive behaviors. For example:

www.lifenews.com

So the conclusions are inconclusive at best and more likely just confirm that abortion is just another aspect of a destructive lifestyle.

controlled for other cancer causing behavior

The study took them into account in both the experimental (abortion) and control (no abortion) group... as any competently-designed study should. There is no evidence of a higher background rate of cancer among abortion seekers than non-abortion seekers... or a causal relationship between abortion and cancer.

The entire "link" is a fabrication of incompetent religious fanatics.

women who have abortions are also more likely to engage in other destructive behaviors

This claim has not basis in scientific evidence, despite your earlier protests to the contrary. Tell me, shitstain, are you a liar, or merely another scientifically illiterate conservative moron?

Ah, links to crackpot websites. You really outdo yourself. Next time, try whale.to
