I understand what you mean but I think they'll always want someone who they hope will keep adults tuned in for the half hour. Its all about selling very expensive commercials during halftime. I was at Superbowl XXI and the halftime show was local high school marching teams. That's as wholesome and family and traditional as you can get for a football halftime show. They will never go back to that.
