It's generally ill-advised to boast of one's own ignorance.

.

Damn fine actor. They used to have this show on PTV long long time ago.

I guess he finally finished his 'Run for his Life'...

RIP Jackie Treehorn.

"Jackie Treehorn treats objects like women, man!"

Roadhouse.

I'm like 'who'?

They could have saved a lot of effort on my part by simply calling him the 'villain' in Roadhouse.

Cue some Jeff Healey!

Jackie Treehorn: Interactive erotic software. Wave of the future, Dude. 100% electronic.

The Dude: Hmm. Well--I still jerk off manually.

What a fucking prick. Hope you get banned soon.

Road House: She-boom - Gazzara has the alarming nonchalance of a David Lynch villain.

"People forget that the brain is the biggest erogenous zone."

~Ben Gazzara as Jackie Treehorn

RIP.

Be Well.

My favorite work of his was Husbands. Great stuff, a lot of it improvisational.

"Saint Jack" was excellent. "Roadhouse" is a classic.
RIP Ben.

Who needs to pretend, the family watched Run for His Life every week when I was a kid, my Dad liked the show. In those days we watched what Dad wanted to watch. It was great, every week he was doing something new and exciting. Racing cars one week and diving for treasure another.

See now that, I believe. Most of these pretentious asses ran to IMDB as soon as they saw the headline. By the by, it was actually called "Run for your Life", unless my memory fails me. I remember it from reruns when I was home sick from school in the 80's. It played in between Maddox.. I think it was called? A detective show where the first season had him solving crimes using a computer, later on he became a regular detective and he had a black secretary whom he clearly loved (and at the time that was really racy for TV) and Batman.

Thanks, I really dig Charlies show.

Check out his interview with Gary Player - I have so much more respect for golf now. Quite an intriguing fellow.
