Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

One of the convicts pardoned last month by exiting Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour (R), a man serving a felony drunk driving arrest, was allegedly driving drunk again a week after the Mississippi Parole Board recommended him for a full pardon. Harry Bostick was awaiting formal charges for driving drunk in the accident that killed 18-year-old Charity Smith when pardoned by Barbour in January. The governor "wasn't aware of the subsequent charges," said his spokeswoman Laura Hipp.

he wasn't aware....

Take that, Huckabee.

Very sad for the mother--I can't imagine her pain--I hope to never fell that...

As for Bostick--since he hasn't been adjudicated for the 3rd (4th) DUI--perhaps there will be some justice as this guy needs and should be serving his sentence for the death of that poor girl.

I don't understand letting the guy off--even with all the glamour letters--after 2 years of his sentence for killing that girl.

Involuntary or alcohol/drug related homicides should be 10 years minimum--period.

Just imagine what Fox News would do with this if it were a Democratic Govoner, what a F**CKING Disgrace...............

Since he's an (R), Fox doesn't even have the story on it's home page. They did, however, find the space to report "Back condition benches UCONN coach".

C'mon Dan, let's be fair (and balanced). The Fox news front page DOES have a DUI story: Florida woman blames her 'big breasts' for failing sobriety test

Yeah...and that's a bigger story than an (R) whose name had been bandied about for a Presidential run or a VP slot pardoning a guy who committed vehicular manslaughter, without even bothering to find out if the guy had any other outstanding cases against him.

Now, if it had been a similar guy, just with a (D) after his name....

Haha! suck it, righties.

Since he's an (R),

...you and the rest of the DR left are all over it, using what Fox "would have done" as cover.

G'night!

Does this mean the Barbour doesn't get to be yet another brown smudge on the clown car seat covers?

He is still a perfect 'not Romney' for you pathetic whores to drool over for a few weeks to take you mind of the Mormon Moron. Who gives a shit if he pardons murderers, he WHITE for god's sake!!!

Where's you love for the man?

TeaBaggers for drunk drivers!

ANY DUI and CHILD MOLESTERS should get a min of ten years in prison. They both get slaps on the wrist for punishments and people are so surprised of how many more tume these two groups comment the same crime over and over again.

First offense for DUI gets 10 years in prison with no early release. Looses driving privilege for 12 years. If caught driving again they loose it for life and spend another 5 in prison.

If they kill a person then death penality is on the table if not given the death penality 35 year prison sentence with no early realse. All personal ownership of all property is sold and given to the family of the victim.

For child sickos get 10 years in prison, when they are released they have to wear a gps tracking for additional 10 years. They can't have children of their own, they can't work with kids or near kids. They can't live near kids. Second offense gets life in jail.

You don't understand, this man said he was saved by Jesus, Barbour being a born again accepted that, so don't blame Barbour, blame Jesus
