Did not want to hijack the Afghan thread with MST3K talk, but was having fun finding out we share a common ground with this show. What was your first episode? Your favorite?

Kanrei,

Don't have much time to post, but I am with you on this one. I loved MSTK3000.

Manos Hands of Fate, anyone?

I remember after watching thinking, I just spent an hour or so watching a really bad movie--but loving it.

Of course, there were a few films that they covered that I had actually watched as a kid.

I wish they would bring it back.

Manos was a great one! Torgo's theme used to be my ring tone.

I was shocked personally at how many I had seen as a kid as well. Creature Feature on Saturdays and Sundays on channel 6 in the 70's really covered the same ground.

I wish they would bring it back.

Rifftrax does national shows where they stream to theaters. I saw "House on Haunted Hill" that way. It was AWESOME!

We had the same thing where I lived when I was a kid in the early 70s. I remember rainy Saturday afternoons (if it wasn't raining we were outside), after the cartoons were over, watching the creature feature of the week.

I have heard of this; I need to check it out. Thanks for the links.
