Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Gallup released their annual state-by-state presidential approval numbers yesterday, and the results should have 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue very worried. If President Obama carries only those states where he had a net positive approval rating in 2011 (e.g. Michigan where he is up 48 percent to 44 percent), Obama would lose the 2012 election to the Republican nominee 323 electoral votes to 215.

You can twist the numbers anyway you want, but it'll still workout the same. President Obama wins the election.

.

Whole lot of red on that map.

For the first time in my adult life, I'm feeling some Hope for Change!

Not my numbers, it's Gallup

Bet you loved Gallup when they posted this poll

www.gallup.com

Yes, because oregon and west virginia always vote republicans.

You can twist the numbers anyway you want, but it'll still workout the same.

Are you factoring in the other 7 States?

Are you factoring in the other 7 States?

Psychotic is a lock in for the GOP.

Pathetic and worthless are full on swing states.

However, Dependant, petty, and insane are all going DNC.

Denial refused to answer.

Wisconsin will be red long before November.

Seems like a good poll...but Oregon will not be red. Too much dred-wearing, tattooed, pierced, hemp-wearing, weed smokin', bike-ridin', Birkenstock wearing hippies along the I-5 corridor. Oh, I forgot shoom-eatin.

When the crap hits the oscillating device in California they might even come to their senses. Nah, what am I saying they elected Moonbeam. they will stay blue when we sell them to China they will finally get the government they want and deserve.

Looking at that map and there are lots of big states showing red that are certainly not in the tank for Romney. Far from it.

Here is the poll on Gallup

State of the States

www.gallup.com

The poor bed-wetters are forgetting one VERY IMPORTANT thing: their miserable excuse for a candidate.

Their Baptist base won't even sober up enough to get out of bed on election day.

Obama will win even without outspending the Mormon Moron 2-1.

Gallup: Obama is Toast

There are a lot of if's in the article's conclusion, but it's biggest blind spot is not considering the republican candidate. Overall a poor article that tries to give hope to the despondent right-wing based on Obama's current job approval numbers (the only solid data in the piece).

Can you imagine a teabagger contributing anything to the Rmoney election effort? Beyond the fact that he is white and rich, Rmoney has NOTHING the scrotum munchers have been screaming for. NOTHING!!

Except for the racist component, Rmoney has nothing to offer the traditional base of the Republican party.

Gallup's 2009 State of the States

www.maproomblog.com

Sorry to burst your bubble cupcake.

Pan still is holding out hope that the moosefart will run.

Anyone but Rmoney. Even OBAMA!!!!! (This is true for most real Republicans, all independents, all democrats and even a few teabaggers.)

Looking at that map and there are lots of big states showing red that are certainly not in the tank for Romney. Far from it.

The map deals with approval numbers, not voting predictions. You lefties and comprehension are like oil and water.

So are you saying that you disagree with the article's premise that Gallup is predicting an Obama defeat in '12?

"Pan still is holding out hope that the moosefart will run"

An actual moose fart would be vastly superior to the waste of flesh that hold the office now.

So are you saying that you disagree with the article's premise that Gallup is predicting an Obama defeat in '12?

#19 | Posted by DARTHCHENEY

No. The articles premise and the map are 2 different subjects. The map is an inanimate object that only addresses approval rating.
This really isn't that difficult, Darth.

nah.. BO wins the election. Repubs narrowly hold onto the house, and may or may not take Senate. Unless Europe totally melts down and we wind up with people running wild in the streets before the election.

Sal,

You pants-pissers voted en-mass for an actual moose fart in 2008 and see where that got you: A junior-billionaires club member about to lose even more spectacularly than the moose fart did.

I see. So you're not just stupid, you're also a mendacious coward.

With the Mormon Moron as candidate, you'd have to be smoking something really special to come up with a plausible scenario where Obama would lose this fall.

#22

Subtle, yet pointed, good show.

#23

Where it got us?
Well we are certainly worse off then we were then but i don't think that is due to voting for the one that did not win.

I see. So you're not just stupid, you're also a mendacious coward.

What's the matter, fuck-face? Did the map tell you something different?

I always get a kick out of the libtards that base their predictions on popular vote. Reagan kicked the living shit out of Carter in 1980 in a 3 way race, 489-49, and only got 51% of the popular vote.

The electoral college elects the President.
Not the popular vote.
Live and learn leftist shitheads. He's doomed.

I swear, you people, and I use the term loosely, will believe any spin the Heritage Plantation puts on the numbers.

Indies and swing Dems are not coming out for Rmoney, and neither are TP conservatives. His excitement creation level is about as poor as his job creation levels.... 47th as Gov of MA.

"Gov of MA" alone is enough to keep most of the conservative South sitting on their hands at home on election day.

Nice research, too bad it doesn't matter as I posted the direct link to the Gallup poll and the results and map are the same.

Besides, its not like Obummer crushed it in the popular vote. No yutes, no change, no hope, no win.

www.youtube.com

Registered Democrats are at an all time low of 32.5%.

There are roughly 55 million registered Republicans. There are roughly 72 million Democrats. And there are roughly 42 million registered independents.

Say hello to your new president senior Mitt Romney! Has a nice ring to it.

Obama's toast of that I can boast
Obummer is done in one term
Obozo the assclown let us down
Flop Ears caused lots of tears
President Zero is no ones hero

Back to Chicago to sell some crack.

Watching the rtards heads assplode on election day is gonna be 32 different flavors of fun.

Be Well.

Really this has only a little to do with the election of Obama this is just his approval rating yes many of us are not happy with Obama but ask what this survey did not ask is how much do you favor him over a running republican Obama looks fairly sweet compared too mitten and Newt not so sweet compared to Ron Paul but Ron has no chance and Oregon will go for Obama which this picture has as red what should show you how useless it is.

It'll come done to OH PA and FLA once again.

Whoever takes 2 of those 3 will win.

Spud's already calling PA a lock for Obama.

Rmoney is actually polling higher than Obama in FLA atm but only by a point and well within the margin of error and this just after winning big there and spending well over 12 million dollars promoting himself.

OH will be the one to watch though.

The real question will be the youth vote.

A lot of disaffected youth over in RON PAUL's camp, atm.

Whether they will support Romney or Obama or just stay home on election day will be a key factor.

It will be a battle of the enthusiasm gaps as Spud sees it.

Butt hurt ostensibly liberal youth (who were a key factor in 2008) who are still pissed Obama hasn't legalized pot and given them all a magic flying pony and a puppy who farts rainbows already might not show up at all.

See also: Butt hurt teatardists and Christian Sharia Law advocates who see Romney as a weirdo cultist who's policies are identical to Obama who will either line up like the good little GOPhers they are, hold their noses and pull the lever for Romney or they will stay home in droves or they will be so pissed they will run a third party candidate who will hands the election to Obama on a silver platter.

There are still a lot of ways this could play out.

Long way to November.

Be Well.

There are roughly 55 million registered Republicans. There are roughly 72 million Democrats. And there are roughly 42 million registered independents. There are roughly 16 manufacturers of Tater Tots and roughly 24,372 businesses in the custom conversion van industry. But there is only one Myron Floren.

That insperity crap is all you got? Put some pants on and get out of your mothers basement and get out in the real world and you will find a whole lot of people know your full of shit.

Obama's Economic Approval Just 36 Percent

In another indication of the difficulty President Obama's reelection campaign faces, only 36 percent of likely voters grade the administration's handling of the economy at good or excellent, according to a new Rasmussen poll.

With red states growing in terms of electoral college votes, the economy in slow motion, high misery index, and high unemployment I would be worried.

#14 -- You and the other moron libs that think calling them "teabaggers" and associate it with Tea Party members being "scrotum munchers" have cracked me up for a long time.

It is finally time to fill you in on the joke you unwittingly made yourself the butt of (and a rather large, unwashed, and smelly butt at that). Let me highlight your poor command of english syntax for you:

Employers GIVE employment to others.

"Gallup: Obama is Toast"

Gallup isn't saying anything like that.

Guess that makes you, as their vehement opposite, the teabagee.

How does that scrotum taste, bitch? You have been educated. Carry on.

mittens is the republican savior! too bad he drafted the blueprint for obama. hahahaha fucking idiots.

Time will tell----it'll come down to "it's the economy, stupid". If the Fed can keep this economy levitating until the elections, Obungler will have a chance. If not, he is toast. Pity the poor sorry rearend who wins since this economy is on the life support of the printing press. We will pay dearly once it starts to slip again.

The economy "turned" a long time ago, Dimmy.

www.insperity.com

El-Corko should tell that to the 1.2 Million that dropped out of the workforce last month. I am sure they're bound to vote for Obummer.

You should also read your own report El-Corko. The economy turned the month the House went Republican! I guess that's Bushs fault too!
