As colleges secure players on National Signing Day, Penn State's recruiting class for 2012 fell apart after the child sex abuse scandal and the slow hire of new coach Bill O'Brien to succeed the late Joe Paterno. Seven players cancelled their commitments to the school after the scandal, including four ranked in the top 250 by Rivals. All four signed with Ohio State. The best recruit going to Penn State is probably Eugene Lewis of Plymouth, Pa., a quarterback projected to play wide receiver. "I'm excited for him to be my coach," Lewis said of O'Brien. "He's definitely a guy I want to play for." Penn State didn't get a single big-impact recruit from the state of Pennsylvania, reports PennLive: "[A]ll of the big names PSU once had its mitts on are gone."

Maybe they should lower the age to TEN YEAR OLD BOYS!!!! FUCK PENN STATE....

"Penn State Recruiting Class Flops"

My heart is breaking for them.

This will change in the next couple of years. O'Brien is going to spice up that vanilla offense and make PSU football more exciting. We are an ADD nation, and eventually the horrors of Jerry Sandusky will start to fade. Pennsylvania produces too many great prospects for PSU not to get their fair share.

"Recruitment dropped faster than Sandusky's pants a Cub Scout meeting".

Mranwhile, Penn State did manage to recruit several students with SAT scores well above 750.

But i heard the 'shower wrasslin' program was doing great.

#1 What an asshole you are. I am the #1 'JoePa' hater in Pa, and your claim is for shit. To mock his athletes is pure stupidity.

Hey douche bag, what division 1 team has the highest graduation rate in the country, for decades?

I'd wager you don't even have a community college 2 yr degree!

They flopped worse than Sandusky's flaccid penis and man-boobs after a day of horseplay and showers.

Gotta love Urban Meyer...

But once again the wealthy money changers who own the pro football franchises always win, because the public will be forced to fund not only their stadiums, but development of their talent pool and feeder programs from the youngest age through college until the recruits are selected by the pros.

One must admit that the NFL and others have was is a utopian business plan, where most of the expenses of product development and operational costs are forced on the public by politicians that are in their bag.
