#1 that's why when I was a kid they all said we were going to freeze to death. pollution would begin to reflect sunlight back into space causing a significant and irreversible drop in the temperature. then we'd all die.

then, global warming came into fashion that the heat, once trapped by pollution, couldn't get out of our atmosphere irrevocably causing a warming trend that would cause us all to die.

now, i think it's climate change such that anomalies of it either being too hot or too cold can be explained by man made emissions.

i think one day the earth will fart instead of burp, and we'll all be gone.

But for a few volcanic eruptions, the Vikings may have taken over the world.
