I'm glad to see "tort reform" is having the desired results in Texas.

When this first came out--most folks although sympathetic for the cheerleader were predicting that her lawsuit would lose.

And losers pay fees and costs in Texas--her attorneys should have warned her. No doubt the attorneys were 'going to win'..even though they lost three times total.

So the thing I don't understand is that she was raped--everyone in the damn school knew it. He admitted it.

The school was going to get that rapist back on the team after the plea deals and bullshit were done.

As a parent--I would have pulled my daughter out of the school and gone to another school. This school and administration doesn't care about the kids--they care about the sports.

And when this kid gets to college--he'll do it again. He learned nothing and in fact, he was rewarded for his raping of another classmate. He's going to get a scholarship!!
