The Navy SEAL operation to free the American and Danish hostages in Somalia had been in the making for days, with President Barack Obama choosing to move forward after U.S. officials identified a narrow window of opportunity to act, according to Reuters. Intelligence emerged last week that U.S. hostage Jessica Buchanan's health was deteriorating quickly. "We're confident that there was enough of a sense of urgency, there was enough actionable intelligence to take the action that we did," said Pentagon spokesman John Kirby.

There's nothing wrong with cheering the President when he gets something right.

That is, unless you have your partisan panties in a bunch.

Well, folks, here are some answers about the President's social security number. Rather interesting.
An intensive investigation has revealed the identity of the man whose Social Security number (SSN) is being used by President Obama: Jean Paul Ludwig, who was born in France in 1890, emigrated to the United States in 1924, and was assigned SSN 042-68-4425, Obama's current SSN, in or about March of 1957.

Ludwig's SSN was 045-26-8722, he died in 1981.
Obama's SSN is 042-68-4425/

Lie some more.
I'm laughing my ass off.

The big "L" on his forehead helps him get started.

In what passes for his mind, he sees Crisco Christie as CinC, and figures these Muslims will stay away from all that pork.

Paniclown is just upset because his "Mission Accomplished" flightsuit arrived the day after Bush landed on the carrier.

I always suspected Obama was a 122-year-old Franco-American.

Our president is on a nice winning streak with special ops missions.

Kudos on the rescue but you have to be partisan to deny that timing to coincide with the State of the Union speech was a mite more than suspicious

Really?

Rogers, you are the same guy that banned me for celebrating Zarchawi's death at the hands of Seal Team 6, in the Nooner.

How you reconcile that?

"How you reconcile that?"

probably cause you did in a childish offensive manner..
like most of your statements

"probably cause you did in a childish offensive manner.."

Or maybe because al-Zarqawi got wiped by an F-16 strike rather than Seals?

Task Force 88 conducted the raid, most of which is ex or current Seal Team 6 members.

Pay attention.

How you reconcile that?

The Hamster did it.

Rogers, you are the same guy that banned me for celebrating Zarchawi's death at the hands of Seal Team 6, in the Nooner.

I don't remember, but I'm guessing it was because of the way you said it, not because of what you said.

The right has degenerated so far that they can't even celebrate outstanding work by the military because it would interrupt their Obama hatefest.

It's inevitable that if President Obama keeps authorizing these actions sooner or later one of them will be less than a complete success. Watch them drool over it then. They are beneath contempt.

Obama authorized the raid on Monday and military commanders gave the final go-ahead on Tuesday, Pentagon officials said.

The Zero had Zero to do with it.

I'm was far from an Obama fan as one could be. But you have to give the man Kudo,s on allowing these missions knowing if one fails he done like cater.Glade he puts military decisions over his political wellfare.

"...knowing if one fails he done like cater."

He may even consider the possibility that some of the people he sends might get killed.

Had this failed right wingers would be shouting from the rooftops.

Since it succeeded, where are the kudos from the right?

"Since it succeeded, where are the kudos from the right?"

Kudos to Obama. He did the right thing at the right time. Mission acconplished!!!!

Now stop being a hypocrite. If it's OK to kill the bad guys it' OK to throw water in their faces.

Task Force 88 conducted the raid, most of which is ex or current Seal Team 6 members.

There wasn't a raid. They dropped two 500lb bombs on it and someone went in to clean up to sort through the rubble afterwards.

Buchanan, the father of the rescued lady said "I love my daughter," Buchanan said. "I'm just thrilled that she's ok and she's back. It sounds corny but I really am proud to be an American. We are the greatest country in the world, with the best resources. And I'm grateful to be an American."

Kudos on the rescue but you have to be partisan to deny that timing to coincide with the State of the Union speech was a mite more than suspicious

Then you must also think that the release of the Hostages just as Reagan was sworn in was a "mite more than suspicious" also.

Reagan get credit for the hostage release after he's been in office for 10 minutes. Big hero.

Bush gets credit for bin Laden after he's been out of office for years. Big hero.

Gee, that liberal press works in strange ways.

If it's OK to kill the bad guys it' OK to throw water in their faces.

That's certainly what the Nazis and Japanese thought. Of course they were hung after the war--for waterboarding Americans.
