After Tuesday night's unusually quiet debate in Tampa, Florida, Newt Gingrich said he was "not going to allow" any future debate hosts to ask an audience to remain silent. "I wish in retrospect I had protested when Brian Williams took them out of it because I think it's wrong," he said. "And I think he took them out of it because the media is terrified that they're going to side with the candidates against the media."
