Hans, why do you let Goatman get under your skin as you do? You put up about 25 posts yesterday and every one of them were about goatman. It looks like there were only three unique ones and you just kept on repeating them as if you were spamming Viagra. Why do you let goatman win like that? Do not let him know that he troubles you so greatly. He probably likes to know that. The content of his posts suggest that anyway.

Look at your user page objectively and I think you will agree that these are the postings of a man who has someone under his skin that he can not shake.

I just can't wait for the state of the union so I can hear Obama tell me how great the economy is.

"One of the more amazing bits of nonsense that comes out of the mouths of Republican presidential candidates is their claim that President Obama is responsible for the poor state of the economy. We've all heard them say it time and again. It's as if they really think we all forgot the kind of shape the country was in when Obama took over from George W. Bush.

You remember George W. Bush? Or maybe you don't. If you've been watching the GOP debates you can be forgiven if the name of the man who ran the country before Obama is becoming a distant memory.

Yes, for those who count such things, George W. Bush's name has been uttered a mere 56 times by all candidates in the 16 major debates that have happened thus far.

President Obama's name has been mentioned a whopping 560 times.
But, what's even more interesting, as The Washington Post reports:

That's not to say that the candidates didn't have a Republican president at the tip of their tongues. Ronald Reagan, dead these last seven years and whose White House tenure ended nearly a quarter-century ago, by contrast, is a favorite topic -- surprise, surprise -- of the GOP debaters.

They invoked his name 221 times.

Even George H.W. Bush got only two mentions in the debates meaning that Republicans have to go back over 24 years to find a GOP president they are willing to talk about publicly."

You know Obama made me have to write a business case at work. I hate writing business cases, but he insisted that i have it done very soon.

I don't know why Obama runs the economy the way he does.

A logical person would think that Oabma has nothing to do with the economy - BUT HE WOULD BE WRONG - because I FEEL it is Obama's fault that i have to write this business case.

If you say so, Jack Twist.

What is it with Buffett's secretary as Obama's guest tonight? And Buffett the BIG winner in as Obama rejects the pipeline?

When Obama talks about fairness realize that instead of giving his cronies hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars ($42,000,.00 per taxpayer) he could have invested in America and given each taxpayer that $42,000.00. It would be much more fair to give each of us some of our money instead of Obama giving it to his buddies.

After 3 years shouldn't he own it? Just how long soes he have to be president to become responsible for his actions?

Sphincty-the usual GOP position is 8 years, and if it's a bad outcome, he never really was President. See 9-11.

I'll forego the obligatory knight scene (no arms, no legs) in the search for the holy grail.

Look how they've fucked America in the last year. Of course, they're alaways ready to borrow some chi-com money for a tax cut for Rmoney or Newt. And I would hardly call Obama handing them their asses on the payroll tax thing Obama getting neutered. But Boner's Boys being unable to come up with a budget, that was hard core.

#21 | Posted by goatman"

And they did. The net loss of jobs during the Obama administration happened during the first six months of his term, when we were still operating under Bush's policies.

"Since June 2009, The Private Sector Has Gained Over One Million Net Jobs. According to Bureau of Labor Statistics data, there were 107,936,000 private-sector jobs in June 2009. As of August 2011, the most recent report available, the data show that total is up to 109,170,000 â€" a net gain of 1,234,000 jobs in the private sector."

politicalcorrection.org

As Robert Shapiro says:

"From December 2007 to July 2009 - the last year of the Bush second term and the first six months of the Obama presidency, before his policies could affect the economy - private sector employment crashed from 115,574,000 jobs to 107,778,000 jobs. Employment continued to fall, however, for the next six months, reaching a low of 107,107,000 jobs in December of 2009. So, out of 8,467,000 private sector jobs lost in this dismal cycle, 7,796,000 of those jobs or 92 percent were lost on the Republicans' watch or under the sway of their policies. Some 671,000 additional jobs were lost as the stimulus and other moves by the administration kicked in, but 630,000 jobs then came back in the following six months. The tally, to date: Mr. Obama can be held accountable for the net loss of 41,000 jobs (671,000 - 630,000), while the Republicans should be held responsible for the net losses of 7,796,000 jobs."

Obama giving the State of the union..

Something that Porky Pig and Magic underwearer man will never be able to do!

Obama 4 more years...

AND re route has already been down has it not...nebraska gov gave okay.,.right??? and what other shit buffet owns has NOTHING to do with this....

#53 | Posted by afkabl2

of course not. it takes a lot of work to re-route, the least of which is buying new right-of-ways.

and the neb gov has zero say in it. this is a STATE DEPT matter, because it's international. Secondarily, it's an EPA matter (the epa is stopping routing it over the aquifer).

so, obama could just run out and buy R.O.W.'s across 1200 miles thru america, tell the state department to rubber stamp it and tell the EPA to go to hell.

That's a lot of gymnastics to perform to keep from admitting that the teatards got stabbed by their own blunt knives.

Republicans and facts don't seem to get along very well:

"WASHINGTON (AP) â€" Newt Gingrich called rival Mitt Romney a "terrible historian" but flubbed his own history in Congress on Monday night when he claimed the nation ran four consecutive budget surpluses during his time as House speaker. Romney attacked Gingrich's financial links to Freddie Mac while ignoring his own.

The accusations were fast out of the gate in the latest Republican presidential debate, and reality got tromped in the process.

A look at some of claims and how they compare with the facts:

___

GINGRICH: "When I was speaker, we had four consecutive balanced budgets."

THE FACTS: Actually, two.

The four straight years of budget surpluses were 1998 through 2001. Gingrich left Congress in 1999, so he only had a hand in surpluses for his last two years. The budget ran deficits for his first two years as speaker.

The highest surplus of that four-year string came in budget year 2000, after Gingrich was out of office.

Overall, the national debt went up during the four years Gingrich was speaker. In January 1995, when he assumed the leadership position, the gross national debt was $4.8 trillion. When he left four years later, it was $5.6 trillion, an increase of $800 billion."

Factcheck.

"Overall, the national debt went up during the four years Gingrich was speaker. In January 1995, when he assumed the leadership position, the gross national debt was $4.8 trillion. When he left four years later, it was $5.6 trillion, an increase of $800 billion."

Fiscal conservatism from that "historian" Newt Gingrick.

wow, another link to an opinion piece about a document that does not exist and even the one that's shown simply does not say what you said it says.

Ignoring the fact that you contradict yourself in that sentence, the entire document is embedded in that page. You'll also notice that it is NOT an opinion piece, but a short introduction the memo you seem to be unable to read, by the author who used it as a reference in a completely different article.

Given the high levels of stupid I'm used to seeing on the DR, you'd think I would be numb to it by now, but you have restored my faith by setting yet another high water mark all other idiots can strive to achieve.

Only one problem you cross dressing freak. The Dems held both Houses of Congress from 2007-2011. Now I know you are as stupid as sand, but htf can you not mention the party in power in your attempt to wedge between Corky, AU amd Roma for Obama licking rights?

BTW... How many enter the workforce each month? Think maybe that should be added to the overall tally of NET jobs created? Or does the actual amount who can work not have any bearing in your Obama love fest?

Wonder why the speaker of the house was so relevant (toward fixing the economy) when the adulterer was speaker but it is irrelevant now?

Why can't Boner fix this economy?

The 57 page 'Summer's '08 Stimulus Memo' is worth a half dozen threads.

The memo contains the Obama administration's opinion on everything from the auto industry bailout, to the necessity for tax breaks, to TARP, to GSE's (Fannie & Freddie), to state bailouts, to limits on the ability of the government to spend effectively (tops out at $300B).

Basically, Summers said what we all knew was true at the time. The Stimulus was aimed at paying off campaign promises. All politics, not much economics.

The DR Left can (will) ignore this, but it will bite them in the ass anyways.

Hell, Rhino, Lipgloss thinks I wrote the damned memo myself, I guess. When faced with facts, it appears he prefers to hide his head under a pillow. It looks to me like Summers did a fairly decent job of laying the facts out to Obama. In fact, I would say he was brutally honest. Knowing those facts, it also appears that Obama went ahead and did it anyway, because paying off his campaign financiers under the guise of recovery was more important.

because paying off his campaign financiers

He says, 'I understand, but that knowledge doesn't help me do my job at all'. And I agree, he has a point.

That's what I've been told from those I know that served in Iraq. I guess Doc thinks they should all be privy to every track of land being discussed. Of course, he's a fucking idiot that never played army after Santa brought him his first Barbie.

"Did I hit a nerve"

Hardly, you sad little chickenhawk.

I've talked to people who've served, and not one of them spout the kind of jingoistic shit that you consume like a hungry dog at an abandoned campsite.

He doesn't know the overall mission and he doesn't want to know....He says, 'I understand, but that knowledge doesn't help me do my job at all'. And I agree, he has a point.

He does, up to a point.

There are people who respond well to that sort of environment and there are other who don't.

It's interesting that during World War II Ike insisted that the troops we kept as informed as possible about mission and goals, believing more information led to a more deeply committed, stronger fighting force. That said, the alternative at the opposite end of the command-obey-fight continuum would be the Soviets and their handling of Mongolian troops during WW2.

Sure Coward. The only person you talk to who served is your fucking bartender.

"I guess Doc thinks they should all be privy to every track of land being discussed."

What on earth does that mean?

You're not usually this drunk quite so early in the evening. But it must be tough for you, being a chickenhawk coward.

No to picking my nose in public
No to women
No to anything with a fist
No to break dancing or disco
No to unicycles and trampolines

How about:
Yes to purposely embarrassing our children
Yes to watching a good football game
Yes to watching classic movies
Yes to screwing at least an hour (all night requires at least a few breaks)
Big and skinny women, and women with tattoos are more than welcome to work the cash register at the grocery, be waitresses at a restaurant, and wash the car (or change the oil). The big ones are good for cracking walnuts too.

What's wrong with public nose picking?

That hollow sound is Chickenhawk Wussy, just another pathetic loser with a big mouth, thumping his chest and shouting to high heavens so others can do the fighting, bleeding, and dying for him.

You're not usually this drunk quite so early in the evening. But it must be tough for you, being a chickenhawk coward.

Great comeback, Otis.

Try some new lines, Chickenhawk.

Is Vietnam the only war we ever fought in that a draft was used? Just a question. Have all other wars been by a voluntary military? It is hard to believe this many years later that I had a patient last week with cancer from agent orange exposure.

There are people who respond well to that sort of environment and there are other who don't.

I would be in the 'don't' category. I'm pretty sure i would be murdered by my own men, in my sleep, if I was in the army.

Favorite WWII movie? "Battleground"!

Civil war (north), ww1, ww2, korea all had drafts. i think.

"Is Vietnam the only war we ever fought in that a draft was used?"

my dad was a tank driver in korea.

he had a friend he enlisted with and they stayed together the whole time. his friend had some job in the tank (?).

all my life, his friend was always a nervous, fidgety type person. I asked my dad why and he told me that he became that way when something happened to them in korea.

the NK would lay down in a ditch and the tank would roll over them and they would jump up and hop on the back and open the hatch, throw in a genade and close it.

so that happened to them. apparently they were almost able to all get out before it blew and my dad's friend was just coming out of the hatch when it blew, and shot him into that air. but he wasn't hurt.

after that he was a nervous wreck the rest of his life.

Lip, is your Dad still around?

Sorry. Mine too. I miss those old stories. Think about the stories this 20-30 year old generation will tell when they're old.

America Fuck Yeah

I was not shocked but saddened about this:

No. They're selling slinky's on the Home Shopping Network.

After 3 PO'bama owns the economy.

Re: Dad talk -- mine is 76 and hasn't retired. He still travels the world selling cotton gins. He's one of the most knowledgable in his field and is in demand. He's in China right now, I think. He's been traveling for over 50 years. He goes through a passport (with adendum pages) about every three or four years. The family kids him that he is really a CIA agent

Don't worry, Wussy, there are plenty of folks around with plenty of war stories. (You might want to see if you have any luck hanging around Brooke Army Medical Center - I know San Antonio's quite a haul from the Badger State, but what the hell.) Although I seriously doubt they'd be inclined in telling them to a half-drunk, wide-eyed, slack-jawed chickenhawk like you, though.

Panties still in a wad?

You sobered up yet, chickenhawk?

*yawn

speaking of war stories, I was wondering about a cousin (actually my dad's cousin) whom I hadn't seen in about three years. I googled her and came across this story about her and her husband. It inspired me to go see her, so last time I was home, I got in my car and drove from SA to past Tulsa to see her. What a bright and spunky 90 YO woman she still is!

Good story, too

You might be surprised at what you can still do. The cocaine helps.
